Where do I get the large round flat that you use to hammer to make the final piece flat on the edges????? I don’t own any dapping sticks yet.. but I use other items to improvise. I started a series on how to make tools or how to be creative to make tools when you don’t have all the expensive tools. But I’ve been really sick and I think my followers might think I’ve left them but I haven’t… anyway I think you are super cool awesome and I’m really glad I found you..@aumi.jewels on Instagram. And Facebook I do mostly custom orders and my clients like me to keep their designs private so I do not post a lot of my work.. I try to keep myself A one of a kind style of Jewelry designer. But I really need to work on a brand for myself. It’s really hard especially since I don’t mass reproduce jewelry styles.. but I love to make so many different styles of jewelry… I have drawers of real seaglass and I buy all natural turquoise and Variscite… In you video you showed a place to buy jewelry supplies other then rio Grande… Where did you get your smaller dies???
Anyway, I absolutely love watching you and your personality is just Fabulous… I would love to take some of your online work shops but Im struggling financially I became disabled from snow skiing accident I snapped my tibia on my right leg the bone completely into because the ski binding never released and when I fell down a black slop my leg twisted and twisted until it snapped. This was many years ago. I have had to have 3 major surgeries on my right leg. I’m a self thought silversmith.. I pretty much have to cut any disc with my jewelers saw. Because I can not afford all these tools from Pepe tools. But I definitely have a lot of hand tools.. And If I need to make my sheet metal a a certain way, then I really try to be creative and I’ll start using my basic tools that you would buy at a automotive store and get creative and figure out a way how to make it happen.
Basically that’s kind of what my IG TV series is all about on Instagram but like I said I’ve really gotten behind and I haven’t put out a video since April and I know that that is bad for business…
Anyway once again so glad I found you I just thank you sis a wonderful person full of high energy and incredible jewelry designer and as well as an instructor.
Thank you, Michelle aka @aumi.jewels IG & FB. I also have a blog but I’m really behind on my blog… i’m going to be having two different surgeries here in August 2, & August 11…so that’s gonna be a good time to start getting caught up on my blog…

The force tool makes using shot plates much easier and much more efficient. It can usually be found where shot plates and impression dies are sold.

@@SusanLenart thank you so much Susan for answering my question..I truly appreciate it!!🤗 Do you know of another Organization that sells used equipment for jewelry making??? I desperately need an oxygen tank and they are so expensive… I live in Dallas Texas and I have a lot of tools but I need so many more tools to achieve the kind of design and work that I really want to do. I’ve been a jewelry designer for a long time and I still don’t even have a brand for myself… I am following you on Instagram now I also have an Instagram and if you will check out my page I would appreciate it @aumi.jewels…. I was doing a series on how to make jewelry tools on a budget and getting creative anyway I’ve only done three episodes and I’m just a nervous wreck and all three of them but I’ve been really sick so I had to back away from some of my episodes and I know that people are following mean you’re probably missing what I do. I just really need to get back on track again and I shut my website down I do not recommend anybody to sign up with Weebly their technical support is very lazy and their customer service is so poor especially for all the money that I paid for three years to have a website with a company… but I am really killing myself now because people don’t just buy off Instagram you definitely need a selling platform and I don’t want to sell on Facebook again because they charge 5% and I think that’s ridiculous…
Thank you 🙏 big hugs 🤗

sorry couldn't quite see~ can you get a lot of detail (other than circles) this way off using these dyes...or are circle style dyes the best to use this way? Thank You!!!

In general I would say circle dies are easier to use but you can use this technique with any shape die. It just may take a little more work to get in corners.
