Can you believe it’s December 1st already? This video is day one of my 12 days of Christmas beaded ornaments (or earrings)! If I can, I will put out two videos per day throughout the week, but things are getting very busy for us on eBay. So at the minimum, I will put out one video a day until they are all uploaded into my playlist: “2024 12 days of Christmas beaded ornaments.” I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing. Supply link, as available, are in the description box under more Thank you, Vickie and Mark ~ Avante Jewelry
Wonderful video! I love that you used repurposed jewelry. I also like how real the video was. You tried one thing and it didn’t work you so you tried again until you got the look you wanted. That’s so real and how we really make things!
The great thing about repurposing jewelry is that we can often find beads and components that we can’t find in “retail” of new beads and findings. Yes, I often go in a new direction when I’m making jewelry or ornaments. And I agree with you, that’s how we really make things. When I watch videos, I can easily tell when they’ve cut the video clip quickly to hide their mistake. I see nothing wrong in showing that we make a mistake once in a while or decide to go a new direction. Very few things in life go perfectly on the first try. For example, I took all the photos of the ornaments on the tree in my office. But the lighting just wasn’t right. So, I had to try again and this time they turned out pretty good. I spared you the details of my photography, lol. Thank you!
I have a link listed under my tool section in the description box below the video. It’s called “bead scoop tongs.” The only one that I could find comes with other little scoops, but they look pretty helpful too. Hope that helps and thank you!

I love how the tree reflects the color of the ornaments. This is a great way to use up odd beads. Thanks for sharing❤

What do you call that little shovel looking tool, please?
Thinking that may help me get the little beads 😊
