Having lived with a female huge white owl (don't know the species) who lived in my bedroom ceiling of my new house, proceeded to lay eggs and hatched 7 chicks! That point at 8:27, where he says "if you know, you know..."
For those of us who don't, he's referring to a event that happened in the early 2000s, where a man spent (I believe) eight years in jail for the murder of his wife. The stairwell pictured is where her body was found. The wounds were found to have Micro feathers in them, a feature common to owls legs. It was later posited by several doctors that the woman was in fact struck in the head from behind by an owl. If you've ever seen the talons on a great horned owl, you'll know why she didn't survive.
This is the most well-known example of owls attacking people, but there are other instances recorded, mostly because those people inadvertently strayed too close to their nesting sites. Owls are exceedingly territorial, and will take it personally if you get what they consider to be "too close".

While the specialized feathers of owls allow for silent flight owls pay for this feature by sacrificing waterproofing. Owl feathers are not waterproof meaning that if an owl gets wet the feathers absorb the water. And this can make the owl so heavy that it temporarily loses the ability to fly.
