Ghost did upload a "consolidated" lore video in the style of a mockumentary called Metal Myths: Ghost. Papa Nihil died onstage during his sax solo in Miasma, during the last show of Ghost's "Ultimate Tour Called Death" tour, on March 3, 2020. Cardinal Copia became Papa Emeritus IV onstage that night. Parts of the event are in the video for Life Eternal, which was filmed at that show. It was also Tobias Forge's birthday - interesting things tend to happen at Ghost shows that are on March 3...
More GHOST! The track suit is BULGARI . I associate the brand with Robert Downey Jr. IRON MAN and the wristwatch from the movie. The Cardinal's favorite dinner is Panda Express Bajing Beef. 😋
Slight correction- the shirt actually says "VULGARII" which is a play on words about that brand, BULGARII which is way over the top in price- totally Tony Stark's style lol. It's rather "vulgar", hence the name. My son and I both got VULGARII t-shirts, I love it.
"Who is this guy?" - the same thing we all said when this released. Also, that "dickhead" moment is absolutely hilarious! They made a music video for Pro Memoria that is clips from live shows and ends with Papa Nihil's demise and Copia's on-stage coronation as Papa IV. I also don't really see a new album coming out this year, unfortunately. Tobias is going to be on tour all year, and they usually don't really focus on the next album until the tour cycle for the current album is complete. That said, I'm wondering if they will do like Prequelle and release a deluxe version of Impera with some cover tracks, or maybe another EP.
