I love the 3PV of the crash testing normally you just see dvr of crashes and it doesn't do it justice AT ALL compared to your loop attempts damn that thing is actually a Tank.

I have a TANQ 2 5" as my first real FPV quad (I bought an Avata 2 first which I LOVE but....) and I can't wait for the TanQ S 3.5" to come back in stock as the RTF with DJI gear or maybe I will order the frame and all of the parts that are available and in stock for it now and build the TanQ S for the experience so I can fix my crashes. I agree though, for what it's worth, I am as amatuer as it gets, but I am blown away and IN LOVE with the TanQ 2!
Just saw the broken demibot arm in the video! I broke one same way!! The stock arm screw were too short and one kept comming loose causing small bit of play and and in a hard crash i think thats how it snaped. Got longer screws that go fully through the arm into the whole threaded insert and stick out 1mm. And have had no issues now.
I love it so much, I have 2 and I have the Tanq S as my first build it myself quad, the Tanq 2s are BNF, but I loved building it and flying it after is more satisfying than the BNF quads i own. I love your channel! I am jealous I don't have a group like that to go learn and fly with. I am still just a little over a month in with freestyle quads, but I am improving and the Tanq has been awesome except I havne't had the best luck with the Hypetrain motors. Smashed into a metal fence post coming out of a power loop into a baseball field dugout @60+ and it didn't break anything but a prop and my pride, but it smoked 2 motors for some reason.
i got the AT6 Aluminum frame. at least 15 crashes every single day flying 3D FPV now for 6 months and have never broken anything on it. no other frame would have survived this kind of punishment. i think this tanq might come close so i got one on the way. Thanks Brother!
Im a new flyer. I got the Skyliner 3in ready to fly starter kit to start me off. love it. Then I bought a Vision40, should be here soon, to get me through the winter, and do some indoor flying. Winter here is bad, and I dont feel confident enough yet to fly in the snow. My next move is to get this tanQ kit from RR. Nice review.
Hey. I was wondering what you actually get with the frame. Do you get the M3 12mm screws for the motor , then you have to either print thespacer or the mount, would be good to see an unboxing, I have ordered one so just womderimg

I think this is the first Tanq video outside of LFRC and RR. Mine is sitting on my bench half built. Waiting on video parts. For anyone thinking that this frame looks good, you’re right. The carbon is beautiful, and it slips together super nicely. This is my first 5” so I can’t make comparisons, but I was nervous and I’m not nervous anymore. Edit: the demibot is also fucking dope and I’m waiting on one in the mail.
I dig the thick arms but 8mm geez um 6mm is good enough i think and at even 6 it puts transfer the force to the sandwich plates and just break them then you need a whole frame id rather just break and replace a arm then have my sandwich plate wollered out

Would you recommend slapping 4s motors on it and setting up 6s and 4s profiles cuz the logs have minimal noise how I got it
Currently xing 2 2207, 1800kv. Ok for slow freestyle on 4s and I probably need bigger 6s. More than 1100.
