Watched Shin Godzilla today and utterly lost my mind when this started playing during Operation Yashiori.
Same lol. Glad they are reusing old music, and I noticed that they used roars from all of the series (Showa, Heisei, Millennium).
Kinda wish I hadn't read this because I would've my shit once I finally got around to seeing it, but still I'm glad it's there.

At least the military managed to fend off the juvenile destroyahs for a bit in GvD
they overcame Goji in Raids Again, GMK, Shin Gojira and 1985.

I think they are but i can't confirm if it they were before or after Godzilla, they are known as Frigate March III & IV.
@@D0L0KH0V during WW2 for the Imperial Japanese Navy, Akira Ifukube actually wrote a theme fairly similar to the Military March themes found in Toho's movie productions. this theme he wrote for the IJN being called Kishi Mai

The JGSDF March from Rodan is actually surprisingly good.
The theme from Atragon is good too.
And of course, we can't forget the Maser March from War of the Gargantuas.
But the Godzilla March from the '54 film is best one of all.
Doctor RED I don't know. The quality hasn't aged well. It's a shame he never revisited the Rodan or Atragon marches; still, he reused the Maser March from War of the Gargantuas, which is also good.

I'm surprised when it was totally edited out of the US version a lot of us grew up watching.
This theme makes you feel patriotic as a godzilla fan. No other franchise has done this to me. That's why ifukube is a master of a composer

The Destroy All Monsters theme will always be my favorite and most memorable theme out of all Akira Ifukube's work!
When you see this movie in 1954 and you taste the sore bitterness in your mouth and feel the heaviness on your heart... Could you ever imagine that this symbol of a war trauma would be some years later one of the most beloved icon in history of pop culture?

It will be awesome they bring Military March theme back to the Godzilla 2014 just saying.
I love the older iterations of the Japanese Army March themes. With each one its like the upgrading of eras. Almost symbolic to the army's attempts to fashion new weapons and technology in their desperate struggle to stop Godzilla. With each one, that iconic marching beat can still be heard. My personal favorite is the 1954 one but I do love how they tried to keep reminiscence of the first one in each recreation.
Arguably one of the most iconic pieces of music ever put to film! I get chills hearing every iteration of this!

All of the Godzilla ones were good, but the best was Monster Zero.
Which was derived from the original Godzilla.

They wrote "DESTOROYER" instead of "DESTOROYAH".
