Turnstile has done such a good job with bringing hardcore into the main stream and keeping their same sound so far. Such a super talented group of guys

@@jezoboii playing the song faster isn't the same thing as rushing and even so idk the last time I saw a band play a song faster than the album unless it's a new arrangement.

Their tempo is all over the place, and I know they speed it up for the live show but still... ~180 BPM in the verse and ~170 BPM in the chorus... not sure how I feel about that lol

I watch a lot of hardcore and rock through Hate5six. And Turnstile seems to be a hot band right now. So i checked out the drumming, and it seems ok.
I didnt say its bad. I watch a lot of metal and jazz drumming, hence this guy doesnt come even close to the best out there. But anyways, rock on brother.

The atmosphere these guys create is something that mainstream truly hasn’t seen. Their ability to blend genres and truly grow into their own sound is the true definition of musicianship. Something that mainstream music lacks. So I’d say this is a win for musicians everywhere

Because of how they've evolved. They were a legit hardcore band in the beginning and then slowly incorporated all this alternative stuff in while keeping their hardcore roots. This is how a band SHOULD evolve. Plus their live shows are wild, at least they were when they were in small venues but that time is LOOONG gone
