Thank you, you made it so easy to understand and you avoided the half video introduction and talking that most of people do, you went straight to the point, thank you, God bless you.
one of the burners went out on my fairly new stove (around three years old). Is this common for new stoves to start acting up so soon? It is the burner in the front, which gets used the most.
It is common when buying LG. Purchased three years ago-- stove, refrigerator, diswasher and microwave all at the same time. Replaced ice maker 3 times, replaced lower and upper dishracks after a year and half and now my stove has a burner that does not work. Also had LG Washer and dryer that had awful mold problems.
What could be the issue if NONE of the burners are not working? Switch lights working, heat warning lights working, oven working. What not the burner?….thx
"WOW' your the only one out there on youtube for LG-My only problem is how do I find the element part number-I have a LG LDE4415 TRIPLE BURNER ELEMENT the center element is not working and I do not want to order the wrong part. Parts list do not say how many elements there are and of course they want you to call a repair man instead of DIY. Your thoughts-Thanks.
The main burner has a plate holding half of it on instead of a clip. How did you get that plate to stay in place? It looks like a screw is holding it in place, but how big is the screw? I am thinking it would cause damage to the ceramic on the other side if it pops through?
You can order online should check to see if you have the correct part number before ordering. Part select or Amazon should have them. I have a affiliate link in description for the one I used. Hope it helps.
@@LowKeyLifeHKD do the clips come pit of the element or the glass top? I'm changing my whole glass top and I am unclear how to remove all 5 of my elements.
@@marklonecke5199 The clips don't normally come with the elements if you buy them. You should be able to transfer the elements and clips over if just replacing the glass if you have a whole new top with new elements then it should just be a matter of disconnecting wires and connecting to new top. Hope it helps.
@@LowKeyLifeHKD but the clips can come out of the element and pop back in, correct? I have the same exact model. My front right hand burner works when it wants to. Would replacing the burner fix this issue
What's the white hue under the glass from? Mine has this, and it's not from food it's under the glass

The one used the most is usually the one that does go out first. Heating and cooling daily does take its toll on the burner.
Mine too

My lg stove have a burner that only turn on half of it,i mean the center of the burner is off i dont know if the problem is the control or the burner.
Thanks for sharing, I have to do mine after 8 years it's time I guess ,do u have a link where u buy it on line ?
www.partselect.com/ is where I ordered the replacement. Hope this helps.
just did this.. super duper easy. im surprised though they have just two clips like that holding it in place...
The clips on it were holding it in so tight I almost stabbed myself getting it off. Guess it saves in cost for manufacturer.

I didn't know you could change those out.
Saves some money if the rest of the stove is working well.

@@74amauri in manual or search for model number of stove for burner replacement.
Could you tell me how to undo the clips?
pictures of the replacement are useless.
Thanks for watching.
Missed the most important part , removing the clips …
It's there around 1:48 if I remember and then towards the end.
