The funkymike experience Thank you I’m really unsure currently how much is too much! I filmed a load of light setups but it added another 10 mins so those bits not not make the final cut! 😎🎧👍🏻
I use the same table and added velcro to the top of the black rails and the bottom of the table top. Just don't go so the way across like I did. It secures the top so it won't fall.
Like the setup I think your starburst was making noises when it changed directions I will be doing my first well second gig only for family in June 2020. Might do a gig log we will see. Very informative vid
I have been using 2 x 1m Duratruss quad podiums for the past few years and they take up too much space in my storage and car. Just got the 1m and 1.5m ladder style Duratruss podiums and they take up 2/3rd less space. Thanks for sharing.
Hey JP, I noticed your moving heads look like the budget U-king brand. I bought a pair myself and am quite impressed. Are yours still operational without issue now we're in 2022?
I used them for a couple of months and then they sat in my garage for a couple of years before I gave them away on this channel as a prize, they were working when they went but one had a squeak 😎👍🏻
@@RealLifeDJ lets face it, everything made in china now. I bet the American brands just see what designs they can put their names on. I bet they can't even be arsed to design them anymore.
I love my RX, a friend of mine has the RX 2 and I have had a go on that and thats great also (Very much like the CDJ 2000 NX2's I use at a club). I was thinking that I am going to upgrade this year, I was thinking RX2 or a pair of XDJ 1000 Mk2's then I saw the Prime 4. I want to check out the build quality on it as its got to last 3 years for me. Once I have had a go on it I will make the final decision.
It looks great 4 decks and a 10" touch screen. Might wait until more reviews come out. I use Rekordbox at the moment with XDJ RX. How do you go about your creates and music genres.
Yes 4 Channel is very appealing and also the fact that I believe your Rekordbox organised USB will work too! 'Organising Music' That a subject I have down to do a video on :)
note that i have a pioneer SB2 controller with 1 master RCA out. i have 2 AMp where 1 will power 2 speaker and 1 will power 1 sub. how can i connect the controller to all those equipments?
I use the Canon G7X Mark 2 for the ones outside and at venues but I also have a Canon GX7 Mk1 which I use for the ones where I film in my office. The only reason for this is that the one in my office is always out setup!
Can’t even remember that event it was that many years ago! When you DJ three to four gigs a week like I used to you do end up DJing the odd small family party and those types of events rarely have the numbers to pack a dance floor. But by the looks of this everyone was up and that’s all you can hope for 😎👍🏻
Hi Ian, Yes parking is non existent which makes load in and out more tricky! That said from the road to the room is only 10m (over cobbles) and a straight line so its far from the worst venue by far! I do like this venue, seems to always be nice family parties mostly significant birthdays and always with a midnight finish :)
The funkymike experience actually they hit my shoulders, but I need to find out how to make them front facing only if poss! Or I’ll have a look at the Chauvet equivalents as apparently they do! 😎🎧👍🏻
The funkymike experience I see Chauvet have a 260 now but I think they are bigger than the compact ones I have on the front, might be too big to go on the front of my booth!
For my updated version of this video with my current mobile setup ruclips.net/video/nvY1pBxG8rU/видео.html 😎🎧👍🏻

3 years on and I bet this brings back some memories. Did the cheap moving heads keep going ?. I just got some 😆
One of them started to squeak and I use them as a give away on the channel 😎👍🏻
That event table seems the business.
Had it a couple of years now. Works well 😎👍🏻
Hi Friends. Let’s do whole UK DJs family and community here in this channel, because very nice Man is here. Love Him.
Thanks
i think they are sometimes the best gigs to do, not as much pressure,,, nice little gig with a nice family
Personally I prefer the bigger gigs but I agree these size ones do often create great memories 😎🎧👍🏻
Yes I like to subscribe the DJ life
I like your video Mr dj life
Thanks appreciated 😎🎧👍🏻
Looks nice 👍👍👍
Dj SaMu thank you, glad you like it I have so many ideas 💡 I hope to get many of them on camera this year 😎🎧👍🏻
Very nice setup sir! Dj Flex 💪🏾
Mundo de DJ Flex thank you 😎🎧👍🏻
Great gig log, very informative, and like the way it looks. Dam you're going to cost me more money lol.

dude is it only you doing all the lifting and setup? that's a lot of work man, and then there is the tear-down after the party!
Yes it is, but hey I’m used to it and it’s good exercise! No one likes tear-down 😎🎧👍🏻
If you like my content and would like to see more why not subscribe. Thanks for popping by 😎🎧👍🏻

Thanks Tony, good luck with the forthcoming gig 😎🎧👍🏻

Nice setup mate, how do you find those Pioneer headphones?? Im due for another set. Hows the isolation on them??
DJ Dynablend thanks! They are fine, do the job but not too expensive 😎🎧👍🏻
Hi JP, What do you think of the Pioneer XDJ RX. I'm thinking of trading mine in when the Denon Prime 4 is released.

Not sure!
How much did you charge back then for this set up? Thanks.
My rates started at £450 to £1000 plus when this was filmed depending on requirements
Great content as always! what camera are you using?

@@RealLifeDJ very nice, looks decent quality!
Nice set up.shame you had more lights then people on the dancefloor 👍

What make are the moving heads?
That ones on the totem are ADJ Info pocket spot twins 😎🎧👍🏻
@@RealLifeDJ The white ones? They are singles, not doubles...
I will
Have to check, they were purchased for a Christmas season and hardly used since!! 😎🎧👍🏻
I've played in there not the best load in if I recall especially for parking.

How much you take?
?
Those moving heads on the front must do your head in keep flashing in your eyes?

@@RealLifeDJ yes the newer chauvet ones do. I use the 255 ircs, they do

Hey hey, are you rocking prime 4 yet ?
I have an RX2 and an RX3 currently
