    Why the conical Root more chance of failure than other shape of root ?

    Thanks for the informative video Dr.
    I just have a question. You just leave the remaining root with its nerve open to the the oral cavity? How do you guarantee that there will be no infection?
    Yesterday I had one patient who did this procedure 1 week ago, and he is in severe pain once I touch his roots with a prob.

      Thank you for your feedback. Before we leave the root like this, we have to make sure that there is pathology associated with the root. We keep the patient on follow up. If there is periapical infection, this procedure cannot be performed. I hope this is useful for you. Don’t hesitate to ask anything :)
