12:45 i just realized the shotgun in question is the "Overcompensator" shotgun they added as vaughn's quest reward in the Fight For Sanctuary DLC in BL2.
@@Strider1Wilco The shotgun he's holding uses the same parts as the "Overcompensator" shotgun in BL2 (which is clearly referencing Rhy's quote in this clip). To top it off, it's a reward from Vaugh. It's clearly the same gun with a different weapon skin, which totally hasn't happened before in a borderlands game.
I don't think it was "luck" if you keep Yvette alive she highly alludes to doing everything to keep you alive meaning she might have messed with the prototype
If only professor Nakiyama had cloned Jack's personality with just a pinch less narcissism, I would have loved it if we could have given Jack a better send-off.
Eh nakiyama only first met jack during the worst day of Handsome Jack's life and not only that but right before the eye got destroyed to after jacks face was burned off His narcissistic and negative traits basically maxed out by them But yeah a Pre-elpis Jack would be a shy, considerate character with enough compassion to give second chances.... unlike Elpis or Post-Elpis jack I would like to see it but wed need to reorganize TPS for Nakiyama to show up before Jack meets hte Merrif
I just love the cutscene where they are getting on the spaceship that Scooter built and flying off to Hyperion hq. It was a good lead up to Scooter’s heroic and tragic death 😢 but I think the music triggers a copyright issue, so it doesn’t get uploaded as much as the rest of the gameplay does
I miss this. I don’t think Borderlands 3 story was quite as bad as everyone says it is, but New tales from the Borderlands was a massive step down from this. I know I probably shouldn’t hope that Borderlands 4 has better writing, but I just can’t stop myself.
Its funny how people call him a monster. But is he any worse then anyone else on pandora? Like hell, in borderlands 3 it was revealed that the bandit clans number in the billions. Hell these are people who will slice you into pieces while you are alive for no actual reason besides shits and giggles. Jack for all his faults and issues and mind you the guy has a ton of issues. Kinda had a point as if you think about it. Wiping out Pandora seemed like a blessing to the universe? What exactly are they trying to save her? A planet that can barely sustain life that has been pillaged over and over and over. Where 99% of the population has become rabid feral monsters who just go around killing everyone and everything. And it only form of trade besides importing guns to keep the murder going. Is magical vaults that psychopaths try to find in vain attempt that they hold even more weapons and treasure Thou in general it just ends up being a bunch of eldritch deities waiting to be freed. In all honesty jack is the hero as in a world of villains. where everyone is either driven by greed, murder or insanity. The guy is least one of the most friendly and in all honestly competent people you meet. As everyone else is a bunch of morons that cannot accomplish anything without you holding their hands. So maybe jack should have actual just let the eldritch god wipe out the planet. Its not like this would be a great loss. Hell ironically he would save more lives then just letting them live to kill everything.
if jack were to have his way, i highly doubt that he could (even if i think they're one of the worst villains) stop the calypso twins from gaining total control of pandora, his whole plan was to use a vault monster and it's shown that they can absorb them even if he were to somehow kill them, there's still the issue of the incoming eridian war that needs "as much vault hunters as possible" and i don't think that could be possible if jack wins i'm sorry, but he's an hypocritical monster that even her daughter calls an asshole, he enjoys strangling people to death and killing them as slow and as painful as possible, he kills everyone who's not on his side because of "you're either with me or against me" mentality and that leads to a lot of more innocent people dying than if they were to be protected by the crimson raiders or other vault hunters, he's a great villain but a really shitty person.
@@darker8484 Handsome jack 100% could take on the Calypsos surprisingly, he has the tech to restrain the twins as he managed to knock down lilith instantly with a siren restraint and as seen with the first loader encounters his machines absolutely body bandits, really all he'd have to do is track them down and subsequently glass the bastards from helios.
@@nero9105 Hyperion isn't that bad. Pandora is full of Psychos who will make you into a skin pizza it's incredibly hostile. Jack's idea of getting rid of them is not actually bad at all
Jack was never a bad guy, he was a victim of his actions which lead to him becoming the man we met in Borderlands 2. If anything we learned the true meaning of the name Borderlands as Lilith was the one who spurred most of the story on.

Bruhhhhhh that killed me lmfao
I forgot how much I love Handsome Jack, holy crap XD I know he's a monster, but damn it, he's a fun monster.
Borderlands did it first but imagine if this was like cyberpunk where you had a choice to let Jack take control sometimes. Imagine the ending to that.
Handsome Rhys Bad Ending ftw
That wouldn’t make sense the point of holo-jack was to bring handsome jack back in his own body until Rhys you know
Wow Reese's voice actor is really talented, he had jacks tone of voice down extremely well
Well, it is Troy Baker.

the og silverhand
Rhys should have kept the silver hand and future rhys outfit in my opinion for bl3. It looked badass.
Honestly one of the most hillarious moments for me was begging Vasquez to spare you when his gun jams.
God I forgot how good this game's story was
18:55 Jack's face lol I can't 🤣
I forgot that scientist was making the AI Jack since the pre sequel😮
You encounter that scientist again in the Borderlands 2 dlc Hammerlock's Hunt. That interaction is why he is taxidermied.
8:40 damn jack is just the best best 😂😂😂
I'm surprised jack didn't lie about how many fingers he had up just for a laugh
I will say, looking back, Vasquez's gun glitching out was extremely convenient and if it weren't for that, Vasquez totally would have won
Imagine if Vasquez returned as an Ai version of himself just like Jack. How hilarious that'd be.
