I gotta say, my mom and step-dad have been together for 36 years, since I was 10. If I found naked pictures of myself on his computer, or in his possession, I don't know what I would do. BUT if I found naked pictures of my daughter in his possession, I know EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD DO.

I caught my Moms ex husband videotaping me changing through my window when I was 12. I looked up from my mirror it was directly next to my window and I seen our family video camera in the window. I could see a small red light and “Sony” and immediately recognized what it was. I ran downstairs to where the camera was usually plugged in and it was gone. I ran outside and found a ladder under my window. I then ran in my driveway and found my Moms Ex in his car I screamed “what the F are you doing” and he said “I’m checking the lights in my car” while he looked shakey and wide eyed. I knew exactly what had happened but my Mom just wouldn’t believe it. I don’t know maybe she just couldn’t. She kicked me out and accused me of trying to ruin her life. He never had enough guts to touch me, I was a strong willed big mouthed kid. I would have told everyone and I did tell everyone exactly what happened. Anyone who would listen until my Mother finally took my side years later. She lies to people now and tells them she left him right away but that’s an outright lie. She kicked me out and stayed with him for two years while I lived with my Nana and didn’t leave until my Grandfather told her she could move in our family vacation cottage until she got back on her feet and by then her ex was sleeping with some guy named Jeff and my Mom caught him crossdressing in her clothing with Jeff.

There's a psychological term for this phenomenon. They're called "flying monkeys". Which is what the brother is.They're the people that malignant narcissistic psychopaths stir up against their targeted "scapegoat". The "flying monkeys" obey their psychopathic masters to the point of lying, manipulating and covering for them either through deception and mis-characterization or through blind obedience. I sadly speak from experience on this. Although unlike here, I never have, and never will, become the monster that they want to turn you in to like may be the case here. The best way to think of the narcissistic psychopath is as literal vampires. They either want to feed off their scapegoats suffering like a vampire does blood or they want to turn their scapegoat into the monsters that they are. And one of the ways they do this by stirring up people against their target. It's a truly sad and sick dynamic that these psychopaths are natural at.

My mum had an affair and when we moved away from the marital home I felt like a weight had been taken off my shoulders.
Little did I know within two weeks of moving ‘he’ came to live with us. From then on my close bond with my mother came undone and all she cared about was ‘him’
I hated be alone with ‘him’ as ‘he’ made me feel so uncomfortable and when I became 16 years old ‘he’ staring to act really pervy round me.
Apparently ‘he’ liked to come in my room when I was asleep to check if I was alright. I didn’t know anything about this until I moved out and told me ‘he’d’ seen my lower half.
If I hadn’t have moved out I’m scared to what could have happened. ‘He’ was a perv, and when I think about ‘him’ my skin crawls.
My mother is still with him and now I have nothing to do with her or ‘him’.

I don't think I've ever seen the person accused, intently looking at, listening to and reacting to the person speaking to the court the way Jade did. She seemed very involved, not detached or cocky which is what most people on trial do. She could have exposed him for what he really was, instead of destroying her life as well.☹

I agree that I have never seen someone on trial listen and react so intently, and emotionally. This is the first video I have watched on this case so I am not really sure what I believe. Much of her story doesn't make sense after hearing her texts. Guessing there must have been more that the jury heard that the public just doesn't know. I could totally understand how she could have snapped after finding out her stepdad was a perv but that does not make it okay if she did kill him.

I think there’s more to the story than we’re being told. She claims that she never killed him but her text messages say otherwise. They are too damning to ignore. A crime of passion in my opinion is ruled out when she takes a week to plan his murder, reaching out to a “fixer” for advice? That’s a bit nuts.

Murder is NEVER the answer. Adults have a responsibility to control their emotions and if they’re struggling with mental health issues then it’s their responsibility to seek treatment. If they have a disagreement or issue with another person then the only option they have is to talk it out like a normal person or contact the relevant authorities.
Murder should never be condoned. It’s disgusting to see how many adults have homicidal ideations.
