I have ZERO interest in any of the “new” scents for body care day, including this one. I just don’t understand these scents for body care day before Christmas. But I’m sure they have their market research to inform their decisions. Imagine if they’d brought back Wrapped In Vanilla instead, or a new gourmand like the Pistachio & Toasted Vanilla that we were hoping for.
Omg yes! I'm starting to wonder if we're even gonna see pistachio & Vanilla at this point. 🤔
I have zero interest as well. I was hoping I'd like meet me in miami but it smells like coco paradise and oahu coconut sunset had a baby in miami. Lol

Mary...I love your reviews and thank you for being so honest. I like the fact that you don't like everything and it's perfectly fine not to like everything BBW releases. I live in a colder climate so I will pass on this collection. Just want to enjoy the seasons and focusing on the holiday fragrances. Besides, I'm tired of the coconut and pineapple scents which I already have in my collection. I'm wearing Gingham Vibrant today. I want to use the spring/summer fragrances I already have. Yesterday was wearing Golden Mango Lagoon as I wanted a pick me up from the snow. I may just get Cucumber Melon though as I do like this scent for spring even though I have the 25th anniversary full sized mist for my collection.
The new one is def better than the one they just released for their anniversary! Go sniff!

Out of all the new scents MMIM is the best that I liked and I don’t care for tropical scents I am a gourmand girl but this I can live with and I love ❤️ the packaging 🌴🍹🌴

There is a pineapple and coconut note because "pina colada" contains both. I think some people are picking up different aspects of it:)

When I smelled this in the store, my mind told me this is a repackage of HIBISCUS PARADISE. It came out a few years ago. I was stunned because the scent notes on the package didn't match what I was smelling. Hibiscus Paradise notes are PINK HIBISCUS, JUICY GUAVA, & COCONUT.
I LOVE that one. Forever will be one of my favs.
Ok. Im just saying it! It reminds me of tom ford soleil blanc. Anyone else?? Just paired them to see. Gonna love it for summer!

I really like this one. As far as light tropical scents go it’s a nice alternative to Waikiki Beach.

You have to remember that Bath and Body has to cater to many states, alot of them are warm states so you can wear Meet me in Miami, i want to take a little one on my vacation this weekend. I hope my store has them. I think it is outstanding. I loved it.
Yes! Not only are some places warmer than others, the fact that some places are hot or cold for longer periods of the year affects how the average person comes to feel about hot and cold. For instance, in the south where I live, it does get really cold in the winter, but not nearly as cold or for as long as it does in Ohio, so Ohioans on average are probably more likely to enjoy the cold and fall/winter culture because of getting more time with it each year.

Exactly I live in north Florida and it really starts to warm up in February. Even now it’s in the high 60’s in December. We have a weather change but it’s so brief so these scents go for us down here
It gets hotter here too but I try my best to hold onto any semblance of cold weather and will push my winter scents as far into the winter as I can. But since it's already 95F in March, I''ve long packed away winter scents (with great disdain).😂 @@Old_English

Piña colada has pineapple and coconut in it, I definitely get a touch of pineapple.
My favorites are Bahamas passionfruit and banana flower, Sunshine Mimosa, Malibu Heat, At the beach (the latest version) and Belize Tropical Cabana. So Summery and beachy!!

I was sooooo happy to hear your comparison to Coco Paradise and the differences. I had heard a lot of people saying Coco & Miami were the same, and I was a little bummed because while I like Coco (I pretty much like anything coconut 😅) it's not my favorite. I think the differences you noted will make me love Miami. I am even more excited about Body Care day after seeing this video. Thank you!

@@lovealways5091 I really like Meet Me in Miami. Maybe I don't remember the body care of Coco Paradise super well since I didn't end up buying it, but my husband is using the CP hand soap right now and Miami is SO much better to me. Much fruitier and brighter. I hope you like it too!

Coco can be a bit cloying I admit in summer but I love her & she is actually amazing in fall and winter or cool spring days like she smells soooo good in the winter even though its a summer scent lol.

Thank you very much Mary I was concerned 😟 about this scent especially the reviews that are out about it but I glad you did a detail review 😊 😀 ☺️ which eased my worries I am happy it doesn't have and sandalwood like coco paradise in which I returned the hand soap it was very salty too my nose which was a major turn off and I am glad it doesn't have any pineapple like coconut pineapple so it should be ok for me I don't like a fruity overpowering scent ...its sounds like it's a balance of light tropical scent . Can't wait until tomorrow for Body Care Dah 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 😅😊❤

I already got coco paradise so i think i will skip on this scent. Thank you for your comparisons they really do help all lot especially for someone who can only order on line half the time.
Also please consider comparing lovely dreamer with pink lily and bamboo if you have it. They smell really similar to me but i need another opinion lol.
Edit: okay on dry down. I smell the difference. Dreamer is fluffy and bamboo is far more floral based. Love them both though.

Definitely doesn’t smell like Poolside Cabana but they might go well together🤔I’m just getting into coconut so I bought this and Coco Paradise today. I love Coco Paradise in the candle and honestly I LOVE the packaging😂if I didn’t like the packaging I might’ve just gotten Meet Me in Miami but it’s also little more fruity and i get a hint of banana so I wanted to try it and try them together too.
Best banana they did was Belize...a few years back. Probably never see that one again either. 😕 def missing the big gourmand scents this year! 😭
lol you are hilarious! 😂 I just picked up meet me in Miami body spray and I combined with with Gale Hayman’s cotton candy delicious, it’s the perfect combination of tropical sweetness! It pairs really nicely together. I also saw it combined with Finery’s magnetic candy but I don’t have that one. You can also pair it with Aquolina’s pink sugar but I don’t like the burnt sugar/licorice scent with the dry down on pink sugar I prefer gale Hayman’s delicious cotton candy more. Just make sure to remove the cap from that one (the signature jaguar) because it doesn’t smell pleasant. 😊

I kinda like the idea of tropical scents in December. It’s like a snowbird special. It’s like a Florida winter. Some people are really strict about getting away from snow for the holidays.
I’m excited to smell it, though I can almost guarantee I’d hate it. BBW has never come out with a pineapple scent I’ve liked. Whipped Coconut Milkshake on the other hand… 👀 I hope they bring that back. (And keep it the same scent as summer ‘23)

I was kinda looking forward to smelling this because everyone kept raving about the pineapple. But it's more of the same coconut they like to use and where is this alleged pineapple?? B&BW, istg if you don't use some imagination this summer... Give me fruity (and creamy) and leave out the musk, I BEG. To my nose, all of their coconut notes I've tried so far has some underlying musk (even Coconut Pineapple to my utter horror😂). I think I'm sensitive to musk so it screams at me and I have to run away from it lol), I am on my knees for them to not do this in 2024. 💀🙏
I think if I didn't live in hell where it's like 120F in the summer and 95F in the fall then I could probably handle musk, but it's a note that seems really heavy and stifling to me in almost any capacity. But as soon as the weather hits like 59F, I can handle it. Also, no shade to musk lovers. ♥

p.s. Don't trust the average temps on google because they count those lucky Panhandle Texans, which makes our average lower for the whole state. We had highs in 110F+ for like two weeks straight last year in June. It's literally 82 today... in December... Google acting like we're not still at 100F in October and already in the 100s by Spring. 😂
I absolutely can not stand it something about it is off putting i purchased it in store and spritzed it around for around an hour trying to enjoy it i could not at all i gave the whole bottle away to a family member and that hardly ever happens to me with scents where i just can not stand it to wear it .. meet me in Miami I give 0 stars
