The opening scene is beautifully choreographed to the first part of the suite. I agree, Sum is under-rated. It is very watchable and holds up well to second and third viewings. Try watching any of the new Star War movies a second time.

I think people really should watch this movie and read some of the Tom Clancy novels. With Russia deploying its strategic bombers in the current conflict and putting its strategic nuclear missiles and tactical nuclear missiles on high alert for potential usage, this movie is quite relevant to what is happening now.

Though I prefer the Harrison Ford Jack Ryan movies, this movie is definitely the finest in the Ryan saga after Ford. Very underrated and affleck also gives a case at his brief stint in the role.

The only inappropriate music in this film was the playing of "Nessun Dorma" at the end when the weapons trafficker gets his throat cut. The aria was meant to be a romantic piece, not backdrop for an assassination. But knowing that most people don't understand that...
