Thank you for the courage to share this truth. I have also been saved from this false teaching of the word of faith. I worked for MCWE in the 90’s and I know Michael’s mom, Susan. I do love them and they were very good to me. I may have actually met Michael and his sister at one time when they visited their mom at work. Knowing that Michael’s heart has been opened to the truth, keeping him in my prayers. I am still going thru the challenges with my family who are still part of the WOF. 🙏it’s not easy. I remember what Pastor Costi Hinn said about being in the “cage stage” and that’s where I’m at as the Holy Spirit teaches me to be patient, humble, and be faithful to His Word and work He will do in my life- to share truth with love 🙏🏼🙏🏼thank you for sharing this.

I am not a "prosperity gospel" person, simply a follower of Christ but what I am hearing implied is that the promises of God are not yes and amen, but maybe and hope for the best. Scripture tells us that if one seeks first the kingdom of God an His righteousness that ALL these things (food, clothing, shelter, etc) will be added to you. Is this like limited atonement and only applies to those whom God has pre-chosen to have all their physical/material needs met and the rest are out of luck? Are there any places in scripture where someone came to Jesus for healing and was denied or refused? Paul's thorn wasn't sickness or disease and he also wasn't denied, the Lord said My grace is sufficient to bring you through it.
