    usually the spokes on the tire only loosen if your sprocket is either A. not centered correctly or B. not tightened enough. the rubber pads over time begin to give more and the bolts will become loose the tork from the sprocket will then pull on your spokes and either bend them or vibrate them until they loosen. its a good idea to go back to your sprocket 3 times over 6 months and keep tightening it.

    I always tighten down my chain tensioner to the frame. Then bent it into alignment lol!

    mines been down for 2 weeks. have replaced almost every part and added a second tank during that wait for parts time. the chain will be here tomorrow and its GO time. i use it as my work commuter and i miss it. hopefully, adding all the new parts at once wont f it up.

    How's your rear tire wear? Doesn't last long on a huffy Nel Lusso cruiser

    Them chain tensioner work better on the top chain n the one that goes strait up that goes on the bottom

    That high performance carb there’s videos how to adjust it and I saw a video that someone had to get an intake that was off set even to fit the nt carb to fit.

    I'm building on a 20inch schwinn lowrider bike, same engine and that racing carb as well. This build has giving me issues from the start, everytime I fix one problem another problem shows itself. It's almost done and hope that it starts and runs. If not fuck it I'm over it.

    I raise my needle to the fourth notch after break in and it's lean clean machine. Does anyone else get kind of a loud tapping knock from their motor?

    Use a offset on the carb to fix carb

    To fix your sprocket problem I find the hub adapter works great and there's several kinds I have a mid-grade one and it works just fine I imagine and expensive upgraded one would be even more sufficient it saves your tires and puts the initial torque on your Hub and not your left side of your spokes which over time does warp your tires and things like that

    One question first time trying to start up my motorized bicycle I leave the choke open soon as it starts up I close choke the engine shuts off?

    • @barneyftw304
      @barneyftw304 4 года назад

      Yeah choke need to be closed when you start it then after 2-3 minutes when the engine warms up open the choke slowly

      Maibe u have air leak

  • @greenmachine55
    @greenmachine55 5 лет назад

    The magneto might have been one of the issues that stoped you old motor if you still got it there’s extraction bolt tools to help remove the bolts holding the cover over the magneto once off you can just replace the bolts. If it was me I’d do that and completely take it apart check everything rebuild it and see if it works again and if not you and always use it for spare parts if any of the parts are still good and or use it as a mock up motor if you ever decide to put an engine on other bicycles that I can fit on kinda like American chopper and west coast chopper would do when building new bikes.

    You can't put tape in the tube the tensor area the make the tensor inastable and can broken You spoke

  • @Westhelockpicker

    You need some performance parts. Or all the performance parts and you just take the cover off to get to the magneto and those factory chain tensioners suck!!! You need to tune the carburetor and you don't need an air filter. You can buy a jet kit from Amazon for a few bucks

  • @jimjones3359

    I bought the same exact carburetor and have the same exact problems

    15,000 miles on 3 builds..Use a 4 stroke like the 7G. 3100 miles cross country trip w/Burley trailer and zero engine troubles. Moved to mag wheels with Tannus tires and no more tire troubles. 2 stroke is looong obsolete

    • @Jarrod_D
      @Jarrod_D 2 года назад

      That's a cool story you got , did you post any videos on that trip ?🤔
      I did a trip this year Florida to California and back on a motorized bicycle. I posted my trip to my channel.
      I've got a 4 stroke build so simple a cave man could do it. Works on any bicycle with a seat post. If fixing a flat tire is working on your bike, then that's what my build is like.
