Could have used that 10 yrs. ago when I had a stroke at age 65 , three years of phisical rehabilitation I've got about 90% use of my Right hand . Lucky for me I lived in Mexico at the time , my cost was 60 peso's a visit , 3 times a week !

Not just for strokes, I have a relative with a frozen shoulder, elbow and hand resulting from brain surgery. This would help with the hand and may be a good aid for those with copper tunnel. The robot hand is a good start, but would be beneficial to see something that incorporates the entire arm from the elbow down.

That should help a lot of stroke victims to regain their movement. Really making some good advancement in treatment. I had no idea they had such devices. Thank you for sharing it with us 🙏🙏❤️❤️👍✌️☕

While it wasn't fun--at least to me--I'm sure it was very informative to some of your viewers who have had a stroke or know someone who as that this glove would help. Thanks for reconsidering reviewing the product and then choosing to share it with your followers.

Must admit this is very relevant: My brother-in-law who is a retired physician was quite active, going to the gym at least 3 times a week and walking everyday... he had a stroke about 12 years ago... but after several years of rehab is doing fairly well.... So this new tool for recovery is not a bad idea. Thanks for everything you share.

I've got a great book, "My Stroke of Luck," written by the famous actor Kirk Douglas, after he had his stroke.
After he suffered his, as told in the book, other actor-friends of his suffered one.
He tells of going to visit them, and the difficulties they face, collectively.
My Aunt sent me the book after she had her stroke, a few years back. I learned so much about strokes and the challenges of regaining ordinary skills afterward; in Mr. Douglas's case, mostly learning to speak again.
It's wonderful to see these gee-whiz high tech assistance methods being developed to add to the drills and exercises laid out by Mr. Douglas in his book.
Thanks so much for your review!
    It's bookmarked!

Hello from Germany, I didn't know this therapeutic glove until now, at least no doctor or therapist had brought it to my attention. As far as I know, there is no manufacturer in Germany that produces such an affordable training device. Thanks to your video, I have a glove like this with me Amazon orders to treat the effects of a stroke. I find that the device is very helpful, but it is very difficult to put it on yourself if you have spasticity. Thank you for this video

Wow JC, we've come along way.
This would really help out People who don't have a bunch of money.
No prescription needed. I've known people who have had strokes and had to learn how to do everything again, walk talk, spell. Just wait to see what they'll come up with next.
Yes I hope NO one else has a STROKE.
And I hope you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Very informational. I have neuropathy in my hands, but much worse in my right hand. I had neck surgery 13 years ago to fix my right shoulder pain. I don't want to risk having nerve surgery again. This sounds like a possible reasonable alternative. Thanks,

    • @JCTravelStories
      @JCTravelStories  7 месяцев назад

I'm not a doctor. I guess if exercising the finger is the correct path to healing, then yes. However, I was once told to stop manipulating a joint to help it heal. Maybe it depends on the cause of the stiffness. Please consult a doctor.
