Not a huge nascar fan but because its a transformer and it was part of the movie line, Im considering on picking up both of these figures. Plus i do like the human alliance line as well. I just picked up DOTM Human Alliance Bumble bee. Oh and other human alliance line with Ice Pick with...cant remember his name off the top of my head, but you know who it is im sure. Thanks for sharing and great job with this review!

The first time I bought this, he was missing the peg that holds the upper and lower body together (13:12). I took it back and got a new one. I also sent Hasbro a photo of the problem and they sent me a coupon that I have yet to use.

i think he is really cool, ive seen many fan robot modes that make him look AWESOME, and some mod that make him even better that and tha he is exactly like me(colombian, beer belly, "glasses" beard and something like that XD)
sorry for the rant... it's just frustrating out here and disappointing how stuff like this happens. i mean, sure we get most of the stuff. some earlier than the rest of the world, but this kind of unfair practice from the distributor/importer is just very difficult to stomach.
that's the exact same question on my mind. the local hasbro importer/distributor over here in the Philippines, seems to think he can make more money by prolonging the release of stocks and having them collect dust in his warehouse for as long as he can. any decent manager would listen to logic and bring stocks to the market/retail shops as swiftly as possible. but nooooooo... over here, they need a "launch event" to "launch" a toy line. i mean who does that ?
I have been looking but no targets have this guy any more but I'll keep looking BB when I found mine I went to four targets in Fresno and I only found this one I will keep updated
What do you think about me buying this for Christmas and how big is he next to deluxe class top spin and deluxe class road buster thanks if that makes sense
but i have the deluxe (Takara version) ;) and thanks to your review i will not get the Human alliance version ;) but i think i will get the Human alliance Roadbuster to have all wreckers in stealth mode ;)
the local importer/distributor, gave exclusive selling rights to his best friend to sell all the 2012 ML wave 2 figures "under the table." which means, you could buy the stuff if you texted or emailed his "friend" and you would meet him at his car and buy the stuff. yes, it's like selling drugs. i mean, hasbro should know about this and do something about it. the items should be sold at retail stores not from some loser's car.
they want to schedule a weekend where all stocks will be first made available at a single mall that could be miles away from almost everyone who collects toys. and they want you to go there. then afterwards, they'll slowly trickle in the stocks at retail stores. i mean what kind of idiotic logic is this ? sorry for the rant. but that's just the way things are done here in Manila with regard Hasbro "collector" items. heck, wave 2 of the 2012 ML wasn't even released on retail...
You could have bought the Takara version and then the reprolables for him. Their is an extra sheet especially for the Takara version and international shipping just 3$ ;)
I really think that this figure gets too much hate. I think it's a well designed figure, just not a well rounded figure. If hasbro had more time I think it could have turned out a lot more refined, much better as a figure.

It's really hard to get this guy to look good in bot mode. However, if you rearrange the belly kibble enough, you can get him to look decent.

Type in fan mode for this figure on you tube and you will find a better way to transform him
