I don't own any greens. I make them with the various blues and yellow. I used to get really frustrated because I forgot what combo produced which green last time. So now as I paint, I make little cards on the side to keep a record of how I got to that green. The other earthy khaki green can be made using black and yellow! And then all of the greens can be tinted even further with white! Green is so so frustrating, and therefore rewarding when you get it right for once!

Very Helpful. Do you mix your shades before you start your project (do you know what colors you will be using before you start working), or do you mix as you go?

Why did you always start with blue, not the other colour put on the paper in the beginning?

Thanks Ian. Is your Winsor Blue here red shade or green shade? Isn’t Indian Yellow also transparent.?
