My dream here in Brazil was always to have a Kadett GSi, but I never managed to achieve it. At least through the channel I was able to feel what it would be like to have and run on the track with a dream like that. Congratulations on the project!!!
He contacted you directly about the car - and not with the story about the friend first. He told you about the friend only after he couldn't hold his tears back. I thought the redline is just before you get valve bounce 😂 unless it has a limiter 😮. Old cars have ignition reducing @ high rpms so just NAIL IT. No mechanical sympathy from me 😔 🤔🤣

I’ve got this horrible piece of shit kids guitar my friend gave me not all too long before he died. You best believe I play that fucker all the time. He scratched his name and a dick onto it as it is quite literally junk, there’s a massive hole in the back of it and the neck is falling off but it’s more inspiring than any other instrument I own. i share this sentiment.
When he talked about his friend "when will you come?", i could relate that part with my grandpa before he passed away and it was too late for me too see him. time is so precious and we often take it for granted. RIP to his friend. and this car brings me back to the 90s, subwoofer in the back playing a CD like "turn up the bass" or "thunderdome".

What a special car. Over here in South Africa, the GSi 16v is affectionately referred to as the Superboss.Very rare and fetches a hefty price tag. With factory LSD and being light weight, it gave BMWs E30 325iS(2.7 with alpina bits) a heck of a run on the circuit. Said E30 being a South Africa only car too.
Fellow SA here I remember my uncle had one. Drunk driver drove into him and wrote it off. He went and bought another one. Dude knew exactly what he had. I fondly remember driving from Cape Town to Jozi with him. Dude did overtakes like nothing .
An excellent moment where, at the very end of the video, Misha pats the car, realizing that each car has its own personality. My dad used to do the same whenever we were about to head out on a long journey. He would pat the dashboard and say, "Good car, don’t let us down". Thank you.
Such a wonderful, honest and natural video telling a story of Niko chasing his dreams and so sadly coming to an end way way too early. I am one of those 150k viewers also shedding tears watching the emotions when his best friend celebrated his life back on track and with Misha behind the wheel. I still love the look of the Opel Kadett E 3-door hatchback! This and the Kadett D hatchback were my favorite cars when i was a little kid. Later in 1993, my dad bought one of the last factory new Kadett E GSI limousine (Frisco edition) in "Magma red" at a time when the ugly Astra F was already available. We had this car for more than 14 years without a single problem. My dad today still say that it was his best and most reliable car so far and we had A LOT of different cars over all the decades! So many good memories ...

I had an Opel Kadett 1.3LS 5-SPD 1988 model (carburettor) . . we drove from Sasolburg to Kei Mouth in South-Africa back in 1989. We were 4 people in the car, and we drove for 14 hours on the highway. We made a top-speed of 208 km/h and drove through the night on lonely highways...no cops around. The car's fuel consumption was 5.3L/100km . .very light on fuel. 55kW / 105 Nm torque. I loved that car.
And my second car. A beautiful 1986, 1.3GL Astra (UK) in coffee over champagne silver. The compliments that used to get. C81 SCC was the registration. 💔
Awesome to see a kadett. I am from 92 and had a 89 E kadett My true dream car. But got stolen in 2016 it was my very fisrt car i ever owned and still mis it with all my heart. Touching to see you guys enjoy the ride but also get emotional. To be fair for an old car they will stay spicy and feel perfect no matter the age. God bless you guys.

I had an Opel Kadett 1.3LS 5-SPD 1988 model (carburettor) . . we drove from Sasolburg to Kei Mouth in South-Africa back in 1989.
We were 4 people in the car, and we drove for 14 hours on the highway.
We made a top-speed of 208 km/h and drove through the night on lonely highways...no cops around.
The car's fuel consumption was 5.3L/100km . .very light on fuel.
55kW / 105 Nm torque.
I loved that car.
And my second car.
A beautiful 1986, 1.3GL Astra (UK) in coffee over champagne silver.

Awesome to see a kadett. I am from 92 and had a 89 E kadett My true dream car. But got stolen in 2016 it was my very fisrt car i ever owned and still mis it with all my heart. Touching to see you guys enjoy the ride but also get emotional. To be fair for an old car they will stay spicy and feel perfect no matter the age. God bless you guys.

Great video, very emotional at the end....but great lap!...I had same car in White color same interior....that was 38 years ago.....girls like It a lot I was the coolest guy on the hood.... as we use to race on the freeway at night against the golfs GTI's.....and believe me we put that machine at 222 Km/h......mine had digital speedometer.....great car....cheers.
