I'd like to add Plex, xumo play, red bull, crackle, and other apps with live channels, just can't figure out how on Android box, had no problem on fire stick. TY for your time!
Currently, Google TV only draws from Pluto TV, Tubi TV, Plex, and Haystack News. Fire TV has deals with those other channels you mention which is why you can add them to the live TV tab on that platform.

Google TV is an operating system, not an app so you cannot install this on a Fire TV devices.

got it working had uninstall updates for two apps then update them and force close again

Just create a free gmail and set location to USA (ensure vpn is running connected to usa server)
