can't tell if this is troll or not. ryan was taxing the same percent as millionaire (30 dollars on a 400 dollar shoe vs 400 dollars on a 5000 dollar shoe). why would you want more shoes for the same price? it's easier to sell 3 shoes at 5k each than it is to sell 30 shoes at 500 dollars each... In the millionares case, rami needs to find 3 buyers. In ryan's case Rami needs to find 30 buyers. Sure it's easier to find buyers for the 500 dollars shoes, but not so much easier that it warrants taking a 10x increase in the number of shoes you're gonna keep as inventory.
Ryan is actually the real plug the dude actually workin it out he wins and lose and not continuously bantering for the prices (he does bargain but he is easier to talk to than the other guy)

So, I just did some research.
First, before I get to that, He gave some clues away.
#1 ALLLL Nikes. ALLLL unused or lightly used with boxes.
#2 The way he said “AINT NO WAY!” when Rami thought one was fake.
What I found….back in 2021 Nike started a pilot program in 8 stores where they allowed customers to return shoes up to 60 days after purchase. They would accept those returns on new or LIGHTLY USED shoes OR if they had a manufacturing defect.
For the used shoes, they REFURBISH and SANITIZE them then RESELL THEM in store for a REDUCED price.
NOW…those returned shoes have to be sent SOMEWHERE to be refurbished for resale. I have a feeling that Nike has a little agreement with the employees at this refurbishment center allowing them to PURCHASE the shoes that are selling for 10-20x more on the secondhand market. Either at or slightly above retail which means Nikes not losing ANY money on that return AND they aren’t DEPRECIATING their brand by reselling shoes that are going for $1000 on StockX for BELOW RETAIL.
Think about it, this secondhand market is INSANELY profitable for Nike. Now they know that there will be resellers speculating and snapping up almost EVERY DROP in the hopes that they’ll make bank on them.
It’s a win win for Nike. They sell out a significant amount of their drops which makes their brand seem far more desirable than it actually would if this secondhand/sneakerhead/FOMO market didn’t exist.
So Ryan either WORKS AT that restoration facility (Remember rami said REPEATEDLY how good his restoration skills were) OR he’s got a family member that works there.
Either way Ryan has a DIRECT Symbiotic relationship with someone at Nike…which also explains WHY he swerved those questions, Nike would definitely NDA an agreement like that… that’s how he’s getting them.
Edit: Google “Nike Refurbished program” or “What does Nike do with returned shoes?” if you want to read up on it yourself. The facility called “Nike Rebound”that processes these returns is located in Lebanon, Indiana
He lowballs used shoes from some other connection, then he cleans them and flips them. Probably made $4-5k profit and extensively cleans shoes. Material cost and lot of hours.
