1:08:20 I work for an apartment complex cleaning units after people move out, its crazy how many times my 5 year old talks about how he's going to do my job and things he'll do "when he works here as an adult" 😂
I feel the opposite about phone calls! Texting can be really overwhelming for me because you can’t hear the persons tone of voice or see their facial expressions + I have to figure out how to convey the tone of voice that I want through text. It starts to feel like an assignment I have to write lol. I feel like phone calls are easier because I don’t have to think about what I’m gonna say, I just say it and my tone is easier to read/I can read other’s tone.
@oooh19 two of them were for the order desk, and orders were due at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. When her lines got backed up, they would ring to mine. So it was a relatively decent job because I could get other things like mail and typing up forms done most of the time. But between 8:00 and 9:00 and 12:00 and 1:00, it was hell. To top it off, there was a woman from HR in the back who was too lazy to walk up front for her messages, so she would just phone up. At those times, I learned to just ignore her line, and she learned that if I did not pick up, it was because I was freaking busy and she just had to walk her butt up to the front. People back in invoicing told me that I was doing well at it, because it usually people would quit after two days. I got compliments from the guys in the plant because they could actually hear me over the com, and I sounded pleasant, but I quit that job one day early. Boss went on vacation, office manager went on vacation, the floater was not doing what she was supposed to be doing, and they had moved me on to the order desk for my last two days to cover her vacation (even though there was someone who was trained how to do it who took over as receptionist). I did not get a break until 3:00 p.m. that day, and then the next person in line, the comptroller (guy with 0 social skills) was rude to me. So I promptly drove to the temp agency the second I got out at 5 and told them I was not going back for my last day. Only job I ever quit like that.

When I was in 4th or 5th grade we were doing some kind of project where we wrote about what we wanted to do when we grew up. We each met with the teacher to discuss the project and when I told her I wanted to be a writer she told me no, you have to pick a real job. NGL, it crushed my little spirit. I'm almost 40 and I still think about it.
If I called and you guys answered, with the anxiety I feel with the phone ringing on the other end, I would quite literally pass away. I might legit hang up hahah
Honestly good job Ryan on that surprise phone call and talking cause ik I'm awful when it comes to surprise phone calls it really makes my heart beat like crazy 😭
Only in the south. I had never heard of it until I saw something on the Southern Women's Channel a couple of years ago. I was surprised to see it in a grocery store near me recently.
I hate talking on the phone! I am fine if it's a business call, you know exactly what to say, right to the point. But when friends call and want to chat I find it so difficult to keep a conversation going. So much prefer a text where I can read when I am not busy, consider my reply, etc.
Idk if they ever went to the Washoe Club in Virginia City, NV but there apparently used to be a woman there who did Tarot cards and built a large house in Washoe Valley from the claim she and her husband had. I saw a picture from my Physical Therapist who is into that of a phantom and saw the same phantom in a picture the guide had when we went back recently to tour again. I don’t usually try to go to those places cause it tends to invite spirits into your life in my opinion. If they are tricking people they are pretty good at it. I know Ghost Adventures has been there a ton might be interesting ghost tour to visit and it’s a Western town but small so maybe fun.
reading my own tarot cards is like a little relazing ritual i do for myself & it can be fun to practice associating the themes with the different cards...wonder if ryan owns his own deck
I had only ever heard about it through the Southern Women's channel. And I was surprised to see it at a grocery half an hour from me here in Rhode Island only recently
Haha I once had a massage at a local massage training school, and about half way through, I felt the student place her instructions folder/manual on my butt! 😂 She probably needed to check what to do next lol! I don’t blame her, I would’ve probably done something similar
I remember being told apples by a health teacher than apples have a little caffeine! def not as much as a cup of coffee but enough to not be totally negligible.

What's weird for me is when I lived in SoCal, those month gave me the worst seasonal depression, and I think it was because that's when I was expecting the weather to get nice since that's normally when it warms up in Ohio.
I love you guys, your shows are wonderful. I use tarot, but for personal readings. I'm not a professional, but I wanted to add my two cents. For a tarot reading, from a true tarot reader, they don't need to know anything about your past. You should just be able to ask a question, they give you a reading, explaining to you what the card(s) means. Some don't even need you to tell them your question, as long as you're focusing on it during the read. For example, I did a reading for myself the other day. I asked a question, wanting to know how a particular event was going to play out that day. I drew the Two of Cups, which meant there was going to be a mutual agreement of some kind, which I didn't see happening. But it turned out to be true, just not the way I imagined it. There's no one way to use tarot cards. Not every question requires a past, present, and future card. Some can be yes or no questions. There's a huge variety of tarot spreads you can find online, and some people create their own. If you ever did decide to talk to a professional tarot reader, I'd recommend Deborah Blake. She's a lovely woman, witch, author, and tarot reader. Just wanted to throw that suggestion out there in case you truly intended to have a witch on your show one day. 😉
i would say silence over the phone means just as much. because if you love eachother soooooo deeply you can spend time doing nothing on facetime or over the phone that means you just wana feel close to them that bad you’re willing to even fall asleep on the phone ..
connected with ryan a bit too much about freaking out when your hands are sticky, if my hands are sticky and i’m not able to immediately clean them i absolutely shut down, like tears and everything
Definitely can relate to hauling a $ $ through Charlotte airport...have been there a ton of times and onlybonce could I even begine to entertain thoughts of time in those chairs
I grew up hating peanut butter, I didn’t like the smell or thickness at all. So I remember my favorite sandwich to get in my preschool lunch my mom would pack was specifically pepperoni and mayo on a hot dog bun. As an adult I’m a sucker for a good Italian sandwich with capicola and salami and all the fixings. Funnily enough I actually don’t mind peanut butter so much now but not to the point I seek it out. Probably thanks to reese’s😂
For some reason I only have phone anxiety when I’m calling/ receiving calls from people I know. It’s fine with complete strangers like customer service lines and stuff.
This is a true story. Back in the late 90's, my life had little direction. I wasn't make a lot of money. I did not have a girlfriend. Life was pretty stagnate. I was watching a movie where an old woman cast bones then read them. It pecked my interest. The internet was not like it is today, but there were still sites on runestones. I bought a set of runestones and a couple of books. After reading, I took a piece of leather and made a throwing mat from it. For my first and only question, I asked if I would ever met a girl and get married. I 'cast' the stones upon the leather mat which had bunch of circles drawn on the leather where the books said to place them. I read the stones on the mat after the casting. The answer was yes, in like 2 to 5 years, I would met a girl and get married. Afterwards, I put the stones in the bag and put them away. I thought, that was fun, not going to happen. 2 1/2 years later, I went to a friends house warming party. There were a few single woman there. A few days later, my life so I agreed to a blind date. I had been on several blind dates before, they had never ended good. Not only did we hit it off, 3 months later I proposed. 22 years and we still happily married. I thought about the runestones a few years after we married. I looked for them but they were lost somewhere in us moving in together. Was it all a coincidence? Perhaps, but I think back now and wonder.

Frankly I am hesitant to even watch the episode because these three have made it clear over the years that their understanding of witches, witchcraft and paganism is what they learned from a disney movie lol. I feel like I am just going to get mad watching this, how's the video going so far?
Huh being an April, I’m adopting Graypril
also i love an unstructured show
When I was in 4th or 5th grade we were doing some kind of project where we wrote about what we wanted to do when we grew up. We each met with the teacher to discuss the project and when I told her I wanted to be a writer she told me no, you have to pick a real job. NGL, it crushed my little spirit. I'm almost 40 and I still think about it.
😮😢
Strawberry jam is the right answer, cheap wheat bread. Smooth pb. Honey instead of jelly is good too.
Sorry, raspberry jam. 😋
love this trio so much!!
If I called and you guys answered, with the anxiety I feel with the phone ringing on the other end, I would quite literally pass away. I might legit hang up hahah
Honestly good job Ryan on that surprise phone call and talking cause ik I'm awful when it comes to surprise phone calls it really makes my heart beat like crazy 😭
that first call was so cute 😢
Like the mailbag song and the graphic 📫
Oh my god i was so relieved that Ryan was exaggerating about the hawk at medieval times 😂
pretty sure apples are an IBS trigger, maybe ryan should look into IBS symptoms lmao
Isn't that natural? Isn't that why kids always get apple juice?
"3 months of dour weather." *Laughs in Portland*
My PB&J consists of jam instead of jelly. Strawberry specifically ! Also, toast with peanut butter and banana slices on em is top tier !
Dukes is one of the most popular mayo brands, with one of the most dedicated fan bases
The pride of Richmond VA! It’s got twang!
@@minivan_hobo I've seen commercials in MD
Only in the south. I had never heard of it until I saw something on the Southern Women's Channel a couple of years ago. I was surprised to see it in a grocery store near me recently.
I hate talking on the phone! I am fine if it's a business call, you know exactly what to say, right to the point. But when friends call and want to chat I find it so difficult to keep a conversation going. So much prefer a text where I can read when I am not busy, consider my reply, etc.
Team grape jelly here!
Also the correct kind of honey for PB sandwiches is whipped honey in a tub
Steven: explaining childhood trauma
Audrey: calling just to say hi
The fried bologna was a real take…. I love fried bologna with breakfast in my grits or breakfast sandwich😩
reading my own tarot cards is like a little relazing ritual i do for myself & it can be fun to practice associating the themes with the different cards...wonder if ryan owns his own deck
the whole caffeinated apple discussion was hilarious
Duke's is the only answer in the south. I am surprised that you can get it out west though good for duke's 🎉
I knew someone had to have said this. I know people who WILL NOT eat any other mayo but Dukes. They will go without if they don’t have Dukes.
@LessThanSarah I either make my own or use dukes! Lol also my name is also Sarah spelled correctly
I had only ever heard about it through the Southern Women's channel. And I was surprised to see it at a grocery half an hour from me here in Rhode Island only recently
The massage talk was honestly very interesting and funny😂
i do raspberry jam for my pbj its thee best
Absolutely
Ryan, I'm a Boogara but I side with Shane on the Fisherman's Friend bit. I love it over mentos.
Haha I once had a massage at a local massage training school, and about half way through, I felt the student place her instructions folder/manual on my butt! 😂
She probably needed to check what to do next lol! I don’t blame her, I would’ve probably done something similar
Crying at everyone making fun of ryan being lowkey allergic to bananas
I remember being told apples by a health teacher than apples have a little caffeine! def not as much as a cup of coffee but enough to not be totally negligible.
Hell yeah, some Elden Ring love.
Hahah, they just told us they're recording this on Monday morning. I wonder if it's the same time each week? Because you're probably going to get a lot more live calls 😂
From people with nothing to say 😅
PBJ PRO MOVE: mix your peanut butter WITH the jelly/ honey. Everything stays between the bread slices. No more sticky fingers!
This is sound advice
Not sure if anyone else commented about when y’all talked about Smash Bros., but I’m definitely a “Smash-head”! I did know what y’all were talking about and I honestly agree that Steven is Ness-coded. (By the way, it’s, “PK Fire,” and “PK Thunder,” not Pika 😭 so nice to hear Shane’s Pikachu impression, though!
and during saturn retrograde, yes boys yes timing
Everyone understands the super smash reference 😆
13:55 Echo the Dolphin! I played that so much and honestly to this day have no idea what the point was or what I was doing 😂
i would say silence over the phone means just as much. because if you love eachother soooooo deeply you can spend time doing nothing on facetime or over the phone that means you just wana feel close to them that bad you’re willing to even fall asleep on the phone ..
55:34 "JUAN DIDN'T ASK ABOUT THAT!"
Love how Wan just got involved in their freaky massage stories 😂
This was a fun episode 😂. Calling out Ryan's embellishing stories, Shane's sandwich talk.
I Love you guys!
connected with ryan a bit too much about freaking out when your hands are sticky, if my hands are sticky and i’m not able to immediately clean them i absolutely shut down, like tears and everything
Matt talking about the Witchcraft stuff reminded me of Donnie Darko, surely the movie nerd bois know that gem
Definitely can relate to hauling a $ $ through Charlotte airport...have been there a ton of times and onlybonce could I even begine to entertain thoughts of time in those chairs
Ryan, Shane, and Steven should go on the show Brian David Gilbert does w/ Ify
I happen to be a Boogara, but Fisherman's Friend is common, and so is Duke's mayonnaise. Let my man Shane live ffs 😅
Duke's is a southern thing. I only heard about it a few years ago and have only recently seen it in my area
Earthbound is classic!
why is everyone hating on the tarot topic THEY DO SUPERNATURAL CONTENT💀 y’all are weird and uneducated lmao
I had to do one of those aptitude tests in school and corninor and funeral director were two of my results. Lol as a spooky girl could track.
The mustaches are giving mario and Luigi 😅❤
Just to be clear Shane is always in the right
For some reason I only have phone anxiety when I’m calling/ receiving calls from people I know. It’s fine with complete strangers like customer service lines and stuff.
I think that's the opposite of most people. I don't care either way
This is a true story.
33rd ep too👀
Less structure on the show, embrace the chaos.
