- There are many long-distance ferries running in Japan.
If you use the overnight ferry, it will take you to your destination while you sleep, and you don't need to pay for the accommodation, so it's a great deal.
This time, I will introduce how to go from Tokyo to Sapporo for only 71 USD.
It takes 25 hours, but the big ferries are very clean, comfortable and safe. Eating delicious meals on a spacious ship, reading a book, enjoying a bath with a sea view... I think it's good to enjoy a leisurely cruise once in a while.
There are no security issues at all, so many seasoned foreigners also make good use of night ferries.
I hope this video will help you feel the fun of traveling by ferry😊

This coming winter I'll be in Japan for 2 weeks. After I go to Osaka and Tokyo, I really want to visit Sapporo, Hokkaido. The ferry looks like a fun and more relaxing way to get to Hokkaido. I even want to do an overnight visit to Wakkanai. Wow I can do some laundry there!
Wao Wao, you go to Wakkanai. that's a great plan !
i sincerely hope that your trip will be wonderful 🙂
Well i was looking for à 6 days golden week so i will your trip

It's obvious, you really love ice cream! Ha ha!😄
Japanese ferries are very comfortable. I took a shorter one from Niigata to Sado ga shima a few years ago, and it was a great experience. Then had fresh fish on the island. It was some Sakana Matsuri. Cutting a large fresh Tuna.
I am thinking about the Ogasawara Ferry (25 hours), I might do that one. Have you?
Thanks for sharing.
yes yes i love icecream😄
i am happy to hear you could enjoy Sado very much !
i've never been to Ogasawara, and i am also thinking to visit there. super blue ocean is waiting for us😄
@@VlogPoco - Hai, Ogasawara ikimasho!
Have you done the Beppu/Oita from Osaka or Kobe, I think. That would be interesting going to Yufuin.
Oh, by the way, the Ogasawa ferry is only once a week. There's also one that goes to Okinawa - once a week also.
Plenty of opportunities for slow but relaxing explorations. Ganbaru!
i traveled Beppu and Yufuin by ferry 2 years ago. they are very nice places to visit. please enjoy japanese top class Onsen there (^^)
and there is also a ferry between Kagoshima and Okinawa. it stops many tropical islands on the way. how about enjoying the island hopping tour by ferry😊
Nice video. still not sure about the bed. Very enclosed.
Thank you for watching !
The capsule room may feel cramped for people taller than 180 cm 🤔
wow, do you know if we can ride and bring bicycle to the ferry either from hokkaido or oarai
please take a look at this homepage. (Other Fares)
for example, bicycle fare is 2,000 JPY.
have a nice voyage 😊

I do agree, that was a good alternative to flying or training. The buffet package at 2700¥ was a steal. Nice relaxing journey between the busses & the ship. I'm curious what the cost of a private cabin is, as I cannot lye in that capsule bed! So, so many vending machines on the ship!
Thank you for watching !

please check the fare of the other rooms at the following URL🙂

That Buffet is dirt cheap 14 bugs all you can eat ^^
the buffet is not a high class, but it is cheap and enough tasty for me🙂

thank you for watching 😊
Nice video. Interesting and cheap way to get to Sapporo.Your spelling is funny and needs a bit of work, no problem.
thank you for watching !
I don't see a word of English on any sign whatsoever. I know they don't have to but it just looks so intimidating for a non Japanese speaker to travel there. And this is Tokyo! I imagine "smaller" cities like Sapporo are even more intimidating. I would still love to travel in Japan though.
It's true that cities that foreigners don't visit very often have only Japanese signs, and few people speak English. But I think it's okay if you have Google Translator. Japanese people are very kind 😊
On the other hand, Japan is said to be safe in general, but of course there are bad people. Please be careful and enjoy your trip !
