I think much of what we find humorous actually makes us irritable because it is made to look something inferior while we feel superior as a result which engenders a very harmful, false sense of pride in us. I have found myself realizing that I have likely contributed and/or participated and that which I would find comedically inferior if I'm truly being honest.

    This is so good.
My husband and I have had to limit John Oliver as well.
I love how your like, “have you tried prayer?” Feel like this is the…have you tried turning it on and off again. Why is prayer so easy to overlook?

Prayer works, and there are such things as spiritual ailments. Managing our environment to the extent that it's possible is useful, as is addressing behavioural issues that lead to irritability, likewise. Often, irritability can point to something on our conscience that's niggling at us that needs to be addressed.
However, don't overlook the possibility that irritability could be due to a health issue. Dehydration can cause it, as can a variety of other things. For me, I was diagnosed in my mid-thirties with severe inattentive type ADHD. That condition leads to a whole host of stressors like sleep impairment, forgetting to complete important tasks, feeling horrible for forgetting a promise made to a friend or family member, and on and on.
The biggest reason for my excessive irritability was the primary issue with ADHD, the inability to focus my attention at will. Most days, I felt like I was being pulled in several directions at once. I've described to others like being awakened from a sound sleep several hours before your alarm's due to go off and being asked a million questions and being expected to solve some complicated and dire problem before you can take a single dip of coffee. It's a feeling that one cannot confuse with tranquility.

Hey Bojan, can you pretty please talk about the irish referendum. They tried to remove the reference of motherhood being fundamental to society from the Irish Constitution and failed. The Irish prime minister famously said that
"It was our responsability to convince the majority of people to vote Yes and we clearly failled to do so"
Dude literally believes that the job of politicians is to convince the people to be progressive, instead of, you know, manifesting the will of the people that elected them.

Hey Bojan! I have a question. I dont know if this is the best place to ask but here goes. How come the eastern orthodox accept the Quinisext council if pope Sergio rejected it, and furthermore, how come the orthodox then celebrate pope Sergio? All the best:).

Father spyridon has a great video on it, he talks about not basing your faith on feelings and viewing it as it is; beyond our influence. We are in a spiritual battle, and this is almost an age old trick. Don’t give up, seek the Lord!❤️

Mull Monastery had a good talk on this a while ago but in terms of why we have to stick to prayer schedules and things of that nature. Essentially, there are times when we won't feel like doing something (or, as in your case, we may feel our faith slipping). Sticking to our habits of prayer will eventually pull us back on track. All you need to do is leave the door open a crack for the demons to push their way in and fill the room. So my advice would be to push through it and continue your prayers even if you don't feel like it.
