  • The Real Travel Show was in Norway in April 2022 and visited Preikestolen, a plateau in the shape of a square, measuring 25 meters in depth and width (82 by 82 ft).
It is regarded as Norway's most famous hiking spot. Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) is an eight-kilometer-long hike that takes a total of 4 hours to go up and down. It's a magnificent hikers' paradise, especially if you visit during summer. It is located in the municipality of Stavanger, south-western Norway.
Preikestolen got its name around the 1900. The plateau is featured in the last Mission Impossible movie.
The Real Travel Show interacted with nationals from various countries - mostly Europeans, from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, Ethiopia, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Scotland, Sweden, Wales, and local Norwegians. Visit Norway, the official travel website on travel to Norway puts the number of visitors to Preikestolen at 300,000 annually.
The best time to visit Preikestolen is from May to October even though one could visit at other times of the year.
