Little late on this, but, I find a solid lash curl helps me look awake. To add a bit of definition I'll use a liquid eyeliner as "mascara", just gently coating the lashes to unify the color (I have stark black lashes that turn light brown on the ends). It's pretty seamless and unclockable!

If only we all had eyelashes like yours. As a blond/greying man, mascara is kind of important. My eyes get completely lost after foundation, so I use a light brown mascara to perk them back up.
It's great! I love how you're promoting mens makeup as a nonfeminine thing, i myself use a lot of makeup, and sometimes a bit heavier makeup, bcuz that's my preference, but i really think it would be good, if basic makeup, could be normalized woth guys :)

haha so first time ever looking into this. seems simple enough. watched it three times. I usually run around with scruff and what, had what I was wondering. I also have a line through my eye brow in the exact same way and spot, do you ever fill it in?
I hope the tutorial helps!! I did try filling the scar in before but my brow looked 10x thicker compared to the other one!! :p

I use a clear lash serum. A tiny amount just to add a bit of volume without colour. 👍🏻

You did a good job covering that bit of acne. I wonder if using some powder foundation with a tiny brush just on that spot would also work? Especially if the spot is more pronounced than your little blip?

Hey Robert! Would you recommend using a powder foundation when you have dry skin? I have pretty dry skin that i need to heavily moisturize like crazy most days. Or would liquid foundation in light layers be a better choice?
BeyondTheRain hey! Liquid foundation is always better for dry skin because of hydration reasons BUT mineral powder would be perfect on dry skin. I’ve used mineral powder on extremely dry skin and it always looks incredible and doesn’t feel to dry xx

richard diaz Hey!! Thank you so much for your comment! I've never had a chance to do a tutorial on mature skin but it's something I think would be great to do in the future! Check out Charlotte Tilbury's channel! She has models of all ages in her videos and they makeup is always incredible!!
Robert Welsh, I think it is great that the younger men are taking better care of there skin and it is somewhat socially acceptable but for us older guys getting a late start. I mean I moisturize and use concealer under my eyes. I also use a matte bronzer and a translucent powder but not sure if I'm doing it the correct order. Thank you so much for responding. I will definitely check out Charlottes channel. Kudos to you and your brother... two of the best channels I watch

the technique id for any skin colour but abviously the foundation and concealer would have to be matched to your own skin tone

For years I searched for a right foundation for me. I always bought at m.a.c and always opted for the ones with the lightest coverage. I think for men who don't have a lot of skin problems it is essential. The best one for me so far is Studio Waterweight. I got a little tired of the dewy look and bought Studio Tech. Although I like it a lot, due to the finish and coverage, I'm having trouble applying it. The sponge that comes with it sucks, it looks like the finish gets heavy, you know.
I know this was 8 months ago when you posted this, but are you still using Studio Tech? If so, perhaps switch to a dense brush to apply instead of the sponge. Even with higher end makeup, I find the sponges that come with the compacts are pretty crappy for some reason. If you use a dense brush, you can sheer it out or cake it on depending on how much coverage you want. This is why I love cream foundation so much. Kevyn Aucoin has an amazing cream one called Foundation Balm that comes with a brush actually. The brush is fantastic and the foundation is out of this world!! Shade range is a bit limited though. Good luck :)

Sham Prasad yea! U can use the brow gel too! However, sometimes it can look abit too much on men if you are trying to look natural, but I like how clean it looks 👍🏻👍🏻

Wales Nag Hey! In my opinion the best thing to do would be to go for a dark brown. Even on my hair colour and eyebrows and even my beard, I don’t use black because it looks so artificial and fake. Go for a mens beard colour that’s dark brown, and it will give a natural black look. But bare in mind that, if black is too dark on my hair... it may also be too dark for fairer hair! Hope that helps!

Carl Eaves I actually just use clear brow gel, but before I apply it, I make sure there is no powder on them

I know I'm a girl but I do know a trick. Buy and felt tip eye liner in black or brown and just brush it through the lashes too darken them and make them seem just a little bit fuller with it looking completely natrual then use the clear gell

Anson Wen hey! Sorry for the late reply!! There's many ways to stop it! I try to avoid putting makeup on the neck as a guy and only stick to the most pigmented areas of the face, like cheeks, nose and forehead! It looks more natural that way too!

Hello hello Robert I would like a helping hand here. Whats your hypothesis about what moisturizer and primer (or optional setting sprays) would fit SENSitve oily skin types?
Recently I thought about this, thinking it would seem overdoing it if I were to use a mattifying moisterizer with a mattifying primer.
Should these two products be opposite finishes or no (I.e. a mattifying moisturize with a normal primer or a "hydrating" moisturizer with a mattifying primer)?
My apologies if this comes across as a bother, I don't really use any of ybe social apps but again I would appreciate the feedback please thanks.
