@@Puretea4711 I think they're just using one of the sets, but not putting the many hundreds/thousands of hours of work into the lighting, shading [and the many other expensive, time consuming tasks that go into cinematics for each scene].

So I’ve just ended watching Wall-E like our hour ago (and i was crying in the end like it was a first time). And after that I was wonder, why they still didn’t make a second part. Naturally I read some articles, comment and reddit post. When i just discovered this video. Uploaded 6 hours ago! Is this a sign or something like miracle, because I think it would be. And yes I read comments here saying “It is blu-ray features”, but still. This could be a sign. I will literally come back after 5 years and GOD BLEES ME, there will be something about Wall-E’s world. And why I care about this so much? Cause I love this move all of my heart and it always makes me fell good and nostalgic. It always was my childhood and now some parts of my teenager. See ya in next 5 years and hope that we will se something even sooner.
Pixar said that they would hold back on making sequel, so this shouldn't be taken as a hint of a sequel. I mean what would the story be? Life before? Life after? Not the most entertaining for a full length movie. Now an animated mini series would be more interesting. Much like Up and their soon Dug Doggy Days, if an animated series of Wall-E existed, that would be a bit better.
I think it might be a brief commemoration [or an exclusive special treat] to Fred Willard, who was the actor as BnL's CEO, who sadly passed away a year ago on the 15th of May.
Fun fact: WALL-E stands for: Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth Class. EVE stands for: Extra-terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator. Bonus fact: The average number of storyboards used on a Pixar film is 75,000. For WALL·E (2008), it was 125,000.
Also, I wonder how well this would work as a Kingdom Hearts world. Either Sora would be in his normal appearance, and all the passengers would wonder how he's thin, or Sora would turn into a robot.
Well, the movie is already great stand alone, so maybe a sequel would would ruin it, but short or a mini series might work. Not too long, but just enough for our Wall-E meters to be satisfied for a bit.
A prequel would be better, like explaining how WALL-E became different from the rest of his kind and survived for so long. It could be called Operation Cleanup.
I've always been fascinated by this movie. Companies decide the fate of humanity, the artificial warmth of our home in space, the fact that robots are full of life after all... I wish we could see this universe from other angles. Thank you for this amazing movie, Pixar.
I wish that there were more Wall-E Axiom flythroughs. While they did provide lots of footage in the original Blu-Ray, I think there is much more to see that wasn't available to see. Out of many Pixar environments, the Axiom is my favourite.
I once read that Pixar will create the entirety of an environment and then a director will pick and choose their angles with that instead of the environment just being made for a set of prepared shots and that's just mad business
I kinda feel what they mean with that is that they'll map out a full environment, but using basic shapes or objects and refine it later for where the shots will be.
Sadly, its not possible. I think Wall-E was basically a love-story and not really a action movie. Love story movies don’t really get series that much.😕
No! Never. Wall E is my favourite but a sequel would destroy the perception of it. It’s a story that’s ended beautifully and shouldn’t be tampered with. I’d prefer having a prequel showing more about what happened with the earth than and aftermath that we was left of on
DON'T! WALL-E is already perfect movie and I dont want a sequel ruined the entire series of it, Although for a prequel like telling the story of the company in WALL-E, Buy N Large is a great idea
1 thing that I like about WALL-E that not enough people bring up is that if you isolate the parts with just WALL-E the story works, but if you isolate the parts with just the Captain the story also still works. It's 1 of the few Disney films that actually does a subplot that is just as interesting as the main plot.
I know Pixar cares very very much about storytelling but I think they should make a Disney+ series for the people who were saved in Wall-E. Thanks to the streaming service, millions of kids these days are finally seeing so many of Disney and Pixar's classic movies.
That was incredibly awesome and also very scary. I'm kind of imagining this to be one of the other Axiom's in space, but the turn of events where robots took over [hence no people visible]. I sure hope another WALL-E is on the minds of those at Pixar, this was truly a work of art that needs a sequel. Also, RIP Fred Willard, CEO of BnL who passed away 1 year ago on the 15th of May.
If it wasn't because of the music I would say that this looks more scary rather than nice. I mean, don't get me wrong, the place is beautiful and all, looks like paradise! But, when you don't see anybody else but you, you feel a bit lonely being in such a big place which should be full of people and, still, you are the only one there... It's like Passengers. Anyways, I liked the video XD
I’m impressed that Pixar re-rendered this just for this video
looks pretty outdated so might be old stuff

It does a good job of showing you the scale of these areas from a human's perspective.
They didn’t. They rendered these back in 2008 for Blu-ray bonus features.
