This is one of the few movies that's honestly worthwhile watching in your own free time rather than a recap. One of my favourite animated films of all time!
Definitely not the kind of movie you usually do, but definitely a welcome surprise. Wall-E is probably in the top 3 best animated movies of all time, and never fails to make me cry in all the best ways. Thank you
It’s kinda odd because there are some little things the text to speech person says that are inaccurate about the context showing on the screen, but the whole video still really gives a deep retrospective on the entirety of this movie summarized and narrated
@@camchc5563 God yes. To this day I will cry every time the scene of Hiccup flying without his cheat sheet comes on. The entire score of the first movie still sparks an insane childlike wonder. 10/10, that's my number one animated movie
The amount of love the animators, directors and the plot makers showed in this movie is just beautiful. Pixar shall always remain the king of all animated movie productions !!!
@@llothar68yeahhh compared to what that studio is producing these days, it's sad to see how they fell off so bad, from creating staggering animations worth meaning to pushing stupid agendas. old Pixar >>>>> new pixar
This movie was literally my childhood. I remember the countless hours just putting in the CD and rewatching this over, and over, and over again till my parents would have to hide it from me.
Three strongest things in the movie -The plant survived through sub-zero temp in the vacuum of space and avoided spilling a lot of soil -Mo managed to obstruct the hundred-ton hanger door, while Wall-E got crushed by the plant scanner -Roach survived getting ran over and shot at point-blank range (which I fear they actually get stronger every year)
This movie is not just a cartoon like some suggested. It speaks volumes of love, environment, technology and being a living thing and the hardship of it from another pov. Along with "UP" which discovers human psyche, this is nothing short of a masterpiece. And I'm glad they chose this narrator 'cuz this voice can not be replaced ever!
A wonderful movie to teach children about how to view the earth as a precious living entity of which we are all a part and essential for each other's survival. A lesson still unlearned by most adults.
I watched this as a kid and this movie has always been in mind unconsciously ever since reminding me to always take care of the environment. Such a great movie
I never thought a garbage-cleaning robot and a robot searching for plants would be creating such an emotional and thought-provoking movie. Thnx to Pixar.
The movie has a good message of how robots and humans should work together and how too much consumption is bad if not dangerous. Now that we have AI,it feels like that message should apply today.
One thing that Wall-e didn’t make clear was that there were a LOT more BNL ships than just the Axiom. The Axiom was just BNL’s flagship which carried around 600,000 - 800,000 passengers (according to the movie’s “Captaining the Axiom” bonus feature)
@@Fusion_4000 likely, as the ships weren’t really all that far apart from each other. They never actually left the solar system and were all set to travel in different regions of the Kiper Belt (one of the outermost layers of our solar system, it’s where Pluto is) this route is confirmed in the same “Captaining the Axiom” bonus feature I mentioned earlier.
Of all the the things, I didn't expect you to review an animated movie. Nothing wrong with that, its just that i don t remember seeing something like that on this channel and hope you ll do more of those
_Fun Fact:_ WALL·E's pet cockroach was nicknamed Hal by the Pixar artists, in reference to silent film producer Hal Roach and HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
thank you for reminding me about this movie. i use to watch this movie with my aunt when i was a little. i dont know how i remember that but im thankful i do. wish i could remember more from my childhood. wish i could go back to my childhood days. the memories that flooded my brain i really needed. thanks for making my day a little better. much needed ♥️
This is still one of Pixar's best movies ever. Wall-E is an incredible character to not speak a single line. Just about as endearing as R2-D2! I have watched Wall-E multiple times and each time I see something new! What an amazing film!
Ah yes, My favorite childhood movie, and my favorite robot ship. How nostalgic. I think the reason Auto being the villain here because he wants to live too like the other robots, that's why he doesn't want humans to go back to Earth by hiding the evidence of old message from BnL hundred years ago, and that's what I think about him being the villain here because for a robots like them they can feel love, sad, and any emotion stuff. My bad if I get wrong at this point because this movie is like 15 years ago
This channel has so many dystopian movies that "from then on, humans and robots work together to create a better world" really comes across as touching.
I work at customer service from home. There are almost no calls at this hour, but I have to turn off the sound in case some customer hears it. You've no idea how helpful the captions are! Thanks!
Most of you are saying you watched the film as a child. When I was a child I was watching the fabulous Hello Dolly, which is the film he plays on his TV. Oh your all making me feel so old Hahaha
Now watching a recap, i actually noticed how that initial scene when walle got eve to dance is actually setup for both her fixing him later, their space dance and motivating the capitan through the recording
I'm not sure that Wall-e turned the self-destruction on. I think it already was set on by the little robot that put the plant there and he merely tried to turn it off but with no avail. Little robot didn't try to send the plant to Earth, just to blow it up.
I thought so too but when I watched it again, WALL-E hit the red button and the text "Self-Destruct Activated" appears. I think this does mean he activated the self destruct..
Not only one of the best animated films ever, but a truly great and touching love story between robots. The end credits with music by Peter Gabriel are also pretty fantastic. Watch the whole movie and you will probably want to watch it again many times.
I remember after watching this movie I purchased a Transformers kind of robot and named it Wall-E. Wall-e definitely had more emotions than human themselves🤩
