I have done probably at least 500 mocks. Changes in the last couple weeks are Cooper DeJean is no longer an option at #20 due to his pro day. We would have to trade up. Bo Nix looks to be back in Rd 1 very late. Latham has dropped a few spots. Fuaga has moved up. Almost a swap of where either were. Frazier has now moved up to pick #40 to even as high as #30. I use 4 different mock simulators for an average. I see too many people using only one. There is one thing that is a constant on all of them except one sim. You grab the OT at #20. You don't get a Center unless you reach at #51 for Van Pran. If you take a Center. You don't get an OT. On one of the sims you get an OT and a Center. As far as trading up higher than #40 to get at least Frazier its going to be expensive, because of two things. First being those teams are not going to want to move off their second rounders because 5 or 6 QBs, possibly 8 OTs, and 5 WRs pushed most of the others down. Secondly we have no Center. Those other teams know this, and one of them could force a bidding war by calling other Center hungry teams that night after Rd 1 concludes. So that pick just got doubly expensive. Oh, btw, I have seen all 3 Centers come off the board in Rd 1 a few times. Probably about 4 times as likely than Frazier being there at #52. If I had to choose a higher pick in Rd 2 to make sure I got a Center I would say pick 34 or 35. If you want that #34 its going to cost you both a 2nd and 3rd. These teams are not going to want to trade down when Rd 2 starts. Dont be surprised if Frazier comes off the board at #33. Big drop from him to Van Pran.
Agreed.. I would like to trade down 2 to 6 spots in the first and then trade up as far as possible in the second. Got to get both offensive lineman early in this draft. There WILL be options at cornerback and wide receiver in rounds 3 and 4.
@@ExploreYourWorld-oo3jd That would be more than likely Guyton/Frazier. I have zero issue if those were our first two picks. Both are very safe selections. I personally wanted DeJean. Go after Frazier and then draft Fisher for OT. That now is probably unlikely. But ya never know. This is why they stacked the 30 visit like they did. They wanted multiple combos where they could go CB/C/OT, or C/WR/OT, or OT/C/WR. notice that they really didn't look outside the top 3 Cs. That tells you that they arent leaving this draft without one of them.
All of these mock drafts what's so annoying we've been doing mock drafts the Super Bowl it's disgusting everyday is another one can we stop guessing and just let things go
Anyone who thought they were going to pay 25 million to pick up his 5th year option when he's not even expected to start this year isn't very bright. It was an obvious move
no "project"-type picks in the early rounds, PLEASE. Example: Mims. dude has started 8 college games. no where near enough tape for a RD1 selection. Example: Guyton. checks all the boxes for measurables, but the tape is... sketchy. pure projection, imo. not saying these guys are busts/bad, just saying that RD1 pick value/capital is too precious to be gambled on "projects/projections". RD1-3 picks should be "sure thing" & "potential rookie starter", not "he's a project". high ceilings don't mean shit if the guy can't even win a starting job, ffs. IOW, can we please draft guys that have 2-3 seasons in positions+scheme that Pgh runs. are we commiting to gap&trap inside run game? Great. go draft guys that have crushed that in college. are we commiting to outside zone blocking run game? Fine. go draft guys that have mastered that in college. my two cents are on the table.
I'm done guessing 😂 I hold out til tomorrow
For real lol guys out here on mock 15.0 😂
One more day
The second draft isn’t any better you have to hit early on your biggest needs center, receiver and corner, then both offense and defensive tackles
The first draft terrible you cannot come away without a receiver in the top three rounds
The hating Noah Strackbein mock draft:
"With the 20th overall pick, YOUR Pittsburgh Steelers select...Spencer Rattler!"
I want that shirt bro

Not picking up Fields option eh? 👀

@jwsteelers1 it was more of a general statement lol but hell yeah.
Am I seriously the only one who thinks Johnny Wilson is gonna be the Antonio brown type steal of the draft?????
He’s trash
yes
