@@wedgeantilles8575 Well first Serral is not an "in your face" player, as winter said at the beggining, someone like rogue, reynor or shin would have finished this game earlier probably. Second Spirit just played a good old Turtle Terran. With a marines/medivac style he would have lost earlier aswell.

I would argue that with how good Serral is in the late game, dragging the game to late game is more safe than trying to all in a Terran with roach ravager. It's also a psychological warfare as well. The more Terran players realized they cannot beat Serral in the late game, the more they try to finish the game early, which make them predictable.
There's a point where Serral was basically farming Spirit for xp in that first game, good lord. A reminder of why this is the person sitting on top. Yeah, he makes mistakes, but he makes so few of them that he can afford them. That second game really did hinge on that lost tank, in terms of momentum. One thing I appreciate from Winter here is the filler, sometimes things are just going forward without much to commentate on, and that's where I appreciate Winter the most. (That and the running gags with the Queens remains fun all the time.) Serral absolutely earning that sweep.
11:50 Serral saw those defense cruisers jump in and placed a nidas knowing that spirit would send them to kill it when it screamed, letting the corrupters he moved there easily pick them off. This serral guy is pretty good...

Whats interesting is that I've been in serral's game 1 position (relative to my own skill obv) and I can almost never close out a game as end game zerg, it feels like so much work, so many moving parts and if you forget your inject cycle right as you trade large sums of your army you just die

Serral was completely dominating the game non-stop for 15-17 minutes straight, and never took any kind of damage (he did not lose a single drone in the entire game) except a few minor army losses in the last few minutes, and yet he was still unable to close the game at any point during that time... Managing to lose as a Terran against Zerg requires some kind of hidden skill. It should at least unlock some achievement for every Terran pro that manages to lose vs a Zerg at this point.
It's annoying that turtle terran can survive for 20+ minutes while having half the bases, losing every fight, and being outplayed across the board. Plus if Serral messes up a single engagement, the terran mech deathball can win the game, while losing fights for terran just means retreat to planetaries and try again in 2 minutes. Cyclones should have a different ground-only, auto attack that does 10-12 damage, with a slightly higher DPS than current, like a machine gun animation out of the front of the unit, and only use the missile battery as the casted ability. Drives me crazy seeing it shoot missiles as an auto attack.
So terran v zerg, if he had 8 vikings/ 16 supply, needs them to be on a mission of clean the skies. THis way, they double as eliminating the overlords vision and cna land and rapidly remove a nydus network, and cna deek out of coruptors also, making them ideal for front line patrol/ guarding of their vision on the maps. having a sensor tower would reveal any zerg unit that hsould be hunted down immediately. 4 vikings per nydus assualt/ swarm host, this also also helps remove locaust waves and you can move in and land on the swarm hosts, losing a couple vikings per swarm host is okayish, slightly large loss, but it removes the threat and its a costly investment, obviosuly you as terran have an army so you can still navigate the land and skies whilst its going on, as starcraft as no naval units... but that aside... vikings are optimal for teran defence, and turrets giving yoru vikings a place of refuge or bio ball for hitting against coruptors, but viking range is king of hte air, per speed and volley making the assault mech. Vikings are really the reborn goliath, that is better, think of it htis way viking is a mech unit. IT has the abiltiy to be land or air, giving it immunity against single layer type enemies. It has zero restrictions to hte places it can go, and it has bonus damage against mechnized units... has long range, and pacts increbilly powerful and mobile unit. However it comes across as a bit of a week unit, hp wise, but if used propery, of landing and taking off, I htink the layer switch is almsot instantly over the animation where as it was always to me felt like hours waiting for that damn thing ot trasnform so it doesn't die... vikings, are optimal with hte interplay against zerg, and optimal in the interplay in prism klling, banshes are better for elimainting worker lines... Over alll tanks and vikings, make em mobile... liberators can be good defence gainst swarm hosts because of their AIR splash damage, over thords, as you wnat ot not take any damage, so stopping htem from landing is key... thats my thoughts, vikings would be a better choice when inundated by nydus waves, and swarm host, more reactive and mobile nad it only takes 4 vikings per nydus ot effective move in land and remove and take off and clean up the skies of sneaky vision lords. or changelings... Changelings an annoying unit, I think one slight balance change to changelings is, if its scanned or by a turret, its a different colour in your mini map only, or simply changes back into the enemy colours but isn't attacked, simply its still has its steal capabiltiy, of walking around not getting hurt unless interreacted with, just making it easier to find and remove the spies... i don't know.

It's a leftover from the time, when Cyclones were a different unit, essentially a mechanical Marine. They had crazy fast attack speed and could hit air and ground (but they were stationary and didn't do that much damage). Battle Mech was a composition using these Cyclones, Banshees and Helions, a much more mobile army in comparison with Siege Tanks + Thors, which are usually associated with mech. It's just something the casters thought of, probably because it was a composition favoring quick skirmishes, rather than a prolonged push.
wouldn't u agree that oracles need a buff for late game. shouldn't the balance council give oracles permanent cloak upgradeable at the fleet beacon cloak and energy overcharge would be amazing

stack injects ! (especially before a fight)
spam hatches/queue injects. I forget to do this all the time, but it does help a lot

They had crazy fast attack speed and could hit air and ground (but they were stationary and didn't do that much damage). Battle Mech was a composition using these Cyclones, Banshees and Helions, a much more mobile army in comparison with Siege Tanks + Thors, which are usually associated with mech.
It's just something the casters thought of, probably because it was a composition favoring quick skirmishes, rather than a prolonged push.

Zerg can cancel a building and get the drone back. So you start 3 buildings, build 3 supply of other stuff, then cancel the buildings.
You can turn drones into buildings, this makes your supply go down then cancel the building and supply goes up.
