If it helps bring in some lost souls and give them a better chance, great, but religious organizations have always been part of the money/power paradigm, using god as an excuse. Its a farce, but it gives people comfort. God is within every living being. Actions speak louder than words.
God is /not/ within every living being. The Lord only comes to dwell within those who accept Him, and they become His children. As for the rest, they are without God.
ona real, religion is long. So many, which ones correct? logically none. But i agree with you still, the message is good and if people need something like that or it helps them then what's the issue.
James, there are many false religions, and only one true God. If God is real, then that means He created everything, including the ability to reason with logic. It is also not too much of a stretch to say that if He is real, then He must talk to *somebody*. Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with a God who loves us. It is very possible to find the true God of heaven and earth through logical reasoning and research; many have done it before. Satan would have it that many people resort to atheism due to the vast amount of confusion and deception out there in the world by many religions, but the fact is God will reveal Himself to those who diligently seek Him. God will come to those who seek Him in sincerity and humility from the heart. Satan can't overthrow God: anyone who seeks for God will find Him, and they will know the truth, and the truth will make them free.
I'm too far gone for god my g haha. What you said is correct but it doesn't really make sense. The point still stands, one has to be correct so why yours? because you felt some divine intervention and felt empowered by it. Don't get it twisted im not trying to be rude it's just my opinion. If it works for people then im all for it but many religions look to control their people. I'm not even an atheist tbh I just keep an open mind, cherry pick what I like and use it for myself. Everyone from the most prominent religions would say the exact same thing you said about their god.

During the last voyage, Jesus, along with several other English ships’ ir Francis Drake accompanied Hawkins on this voyage and subsequent others. Drake, was himself, devoutly religious. What an interesting video. I have to be honest, when I saw the thumbnail and heard the first few seconds of this vid, I clicked 'back' straight away. It made me cringe. When I became born again, I went through a very short phase of dismissing any kind of music that didn't resemble what the Bible had to described the characteristics of the Holy Spirit to be i.e. gentle and softly knocking at your door, waiting to come in. It usually takes a lot of diluting one's life from normality e.g. work, school, internet/TV, relationships etc... for a WHOLE week in order to train the mind to once again hear the voice of the Lord when he speaks. But as the Lord helped to renew my faith day by day and thus grow, I've been able to see through the surface of much music and try to find meaning anyway I can. It might surprise some but in the summer when cars have their tops down blaring music that vibrates the whole surrounding area in Brixton, what may be perceived as ordinary inaudible reggae is actually gospel. That brings me to my point. Faith comes first by hearing the word of God, then by meditating on it.This is the spiritual mechanics of the sequence of events for how Gods grace gives faith to man. Of course, God can simply give the gift of faith as a solitary decision as shown by the Canaanite woman who had enough faith to even compel Jesus to act against what on paper had been his primary purpose on earth. Also shown by the very sick woman who had bled for years on end only to touch Jesus' garment for it to stop. These are isolated incidents of faith being 'gifted' to individuals for miracles. But as for routine, we have to first consume the word of God via the ears. So that's not reading silently, or memorizing something. It's audible activity for the ears to hear as the first step of the sequence. That's why praise and worship is as equally powerful as reading the Bible. So for this reason, I will never condemn a reason for anyone to hear scripture, through whatever means presents itself. What I can say though is that Lucifer was an angel who lead the choir in heaven and just to give enough context, has existed far longer than this earth has. Whatever levels of malevolence and deceit you think is present in the human heart, multiply it by the number of years this earth has been spinning, then multiply that number by itself again... then you would at least understand that Satan's level of competence is pointless to even try and comprehend. Eon's of generations have gone by where music has been used to spread the spirit of confusion: whereby controversy sells more i.e. bad is good and good is bad. That's a phenomena for which I can never grasp it's original roots except for Satan himself. As Christians we're taught to guard our hearts against evil, which is something that isn't always obvious to identify when it's in front of you. Why? We're walking into solid walls many times in our walk with Christ because again, according to the word, the spirit and the flesh are at odds with one another and will continue to be until the end of our time. It's a constant battle every day fighting within yourself not for righteous as our righteousness is afforded via Christ, but to try and live a holy life. What might tickle the ears and feel so right, might in fact not be if we're not on guard. Evidence of what God does or doesn't approve is oblivious to the religious man who still relies on bullet pointed instructions for how to live, still stuck in the wilderness that Israel were in after they left Egypt. Unable to find approval or disapproval for that matter for each action they take due to said bullet points having ran out due to only being 10 sentences long i.e. The Ten Commandments. Ours however is to open our mouths and ask God to direct our steps and if we don't know what to pray for, the spirit of God will intercede for us. Children are being brought out from a life of crime, given a second chance and a way back into society after serving a jail sentence through this project. This is undeniable. However, there are many organizations setup to do such who're even more established and are not doing so as a means to spread the gospel. Would I join this church? I don't know. I certainly don't feel any prompt in my spirit towards it, but that doesn't mean others won't or should ignore an urge to go check them out. The lessons I've learned from Jesus' 40 day and 40 night fast is that God's word is the most important tool to live this life, not your possessions. When a wealthy young man approached Jesus saying that he had kept all the commandments and was asking what it is he should do to inherit eternal life, Jesus simply replied: give away all you have to the poor and come and follow me, to which he responded in sorrow because he had great wealth. Again, Jesus' lesson that it is easier for a rich man to enter the eye of a needle than to enter into the kingdom of God, but with God, all things are possible. It's only the latter part of that lesson I can attribute to this church and this crew. Can they continue to spread their message without the added incentive of money? Is their faith great enough to serve God even if they were 'poor'? Only they can answer these questions. I even use the word 'poor' very contentiously because my definition of poverty isn't something that can be attributed to life in the UK or anywhere in the 1st western world. I'm not talking about not being able to afford the next Iphone 8 or not being able to afford Louboutins. I'm talking about not being able to envisage your meals beyond 2 days max and so I don't even attribute criminal behaviour from mere babies to 'poverty' in the UK. But that's a separate argument. For the fact that Gods word continues to be spread, I do believe that God can use them to bring salvation to others. That doesn't mean they will obtain salvation themselves however, it just means they might benefit from Gods blessing on earth. After that... only God knows.
The responses to this that are “they’re too materialistic”/“this isn’t right by the bible” are starting to show its redundancy I’m not a Christian so I’m not gonna front like I know it inside out but doesn’t it’s say only god can judge man. Everybody chatting most likely hasn’t done half as much as what these man doing for all the youths especially black youths from such background. What’s more refreshing to see is that the people leading and fund this all are black. Tbh I don’t see the negativity in comparison to their past realities anything at all from them joining spac, not say that’s its airtight but any slight fault alaan very easily fixed but at a time like this I’m happy this is around. Wherad if they’re were still on the roads killing their just as - misinformed counterparts. This can only help build a black economy and boost employment in places for like Croydon and Brixton
J Money I agree but the problem is they are calling themselves a church. Therefore there is an expectation not by me but by Jesus on how to behave. As for only God can judge, generally used as a throw away line for those who don't want to follow God's word.
Again I’m not a Christian by for as long as I’ve known churches have been to worship god and one of the many way one can do is so is thru music so now they’re doing clearly doing it why are people complaining dont people when people sing hymns. At least they’re religions got a platform to showcase their talents and get them a nice living
You must be a special type of person if you are willing to mock the creator for money. I find it so funny that we as black people always lower the bar we used to have selfrespect but now that is al gone.
Do you think Jesus Christ is bopping his head to this? Well will have to see when your standing in front of him and if he not impressed with your walk for Christ then it’ll be too late, so make the right decision now before it’s too late.
God said you'll know a tree by it's fruits God also gives examples of the fruit of the spirit. God tell us to be separated from the world this what these people are doing is nothing that's has to do with Jesus or God but instead they are making themselves the Gods! This is the blind leading the blind and will fall in a ditch.
Bang AC and launder it through a religious institution so it cant be traced and cant be taxed. This aint about religion or community. Its another way to make more money. Only a few know and the rest are sold a dream.
Yung Jigglypuff my heart breaks when I read that you just quit. On the other hand, I’m glad because you’re ready to pick up your Bible. Remember Matthew tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and then all thing else will be added. Please start by asking the Jesus to reveal himself to you and when you find him, run after his word so you may grow spiritually and then all things will be added. I’m a testament of that. Don’t let material things be what draws you to Christ because you may gain that today and loose it tomorrow but Gods word is forever eternal. Shalom

This is not a church this is a mentorship program
I been goin to the wrong church man

I think this is pretty cool.
The responses to this that are “they’re too materialistic”/“this isn’t right by the bible” are starting to show its redundancy
I’m not a Christian so I’m not gonna front like I know it inside out but doesn’t it’s say only god can judge man.
J Money
I agree but the problem is they are calling themselves a church.
Waiting for your explanation now...
You must be a special type of person if you are willing to mock the creator for money. I find it so funny that we as black people always lower the bar we used to have selfrespect but now that is al gone.
The idiots who gave their money and loans to this cult are the biggest mugs

From one gang to another. Cults always prey on vulnerable people looking for escape, identity and family. So sad
Do you think Jesus Christ is bopping his head to this? Well will have to see when your standing in front of him and if he not impressed with your walk for Christ then it’ll be too late, so make the right decision now before it’s too late.
Nah I think this is a cold idea, better than most ideas the government have for the youth

They come up with some funny names don't they lol "Bread" 😭😭😭
God said you'll know a tree by it's fruits God also gives examples of the fruit of the spirit. God tell us to be separated from the world this what these people are doing is nothing that's has to do with Jesus or God but instead they are making themselves the Gods! This is the blind leading the blind and will fall in a ditch.

Bang AC and launder it through a religious institution so it cant be traced and cant be taxed. This aint about religion or community. Its another way to make more money. Only a few know and the rest are sold a dream.
I just quit Christianity but the money that’s in it man might need to pick up my bible again
Shalom
