I love this video so full of valid information. About the palm oil packaging can you recommend someone selling the nylon to package effectively.
Another question can I cargo Vegetable oil or I should bring it with me the way you packed your palm oil with you or i should not bother to bring vegetable oil to Canada?
Thank you. What we used was cling film. Lots of supermarkets have it. Just go for the big size. For the vegetable oil, if you'll be going grocery shopping when you get here, then I don't think you need to bring with you. You will find either veg oil or canola oil which is also good here.

Please as new immigrant is the cargo free because I heard from your video that custom issues a receipt but didn't get that part clearly
Cargo isn't free. It's just that a new immigrants you're not meant to pay for duty fee. But different people have different experiences.

So sorry for the delay in responding. I don't know why I didn't see this. I don't know about that though. I think the value of what you want to sell will be determine if it makes sense. I mean if it's something unique from Nigeria like you made it yourself of the fabric is unique then why not.

Hi. Please what receipt are you referring to? I just came in on Thursday as a student and wasn't given any receipt by customs
It a receipt given after one declares the goods coming with them through cargo.
Did you go to customs after you were done with immigrations?
@@omoaribidesi I believe I passed through customs when I picked up my bags, since I did self-declaration at immigration I was just told to drop the printout I was given
@@ibukunogun6769 oh, that self declaration is the first on you do as soon as you get to immigrations. After you're done with immigrations is when you'll go to customs. This is for people who did cargo. The only thing I'm not sure is if the duty fee exemption receipt is applicable to students.
