Wow! This place is amazing!
The food looks really good. Going to try some when go across NYC, good videos
Should we not encourage people to eat such harmful and unhealthy food? Scientific studies have proven the majority of diseases such as Alzheimer’s, heart disease, tremor and cancer are caused by eating harmful food. Greetings to you.....
Does Adrianna have a channel
Adress??
These food halls can be so good for tourists. You can try lots of different dishes from the same hall over the duration of your stay, best of all you can walk to and from the hall to walk off those donuts. Plus you help small businesses at the same time.
Working in midtown and have no idea this place existed, you just got them a new customer!
you two should film there
That's an amazing idea for a rainy day!
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
I'm obsessed with the Hugh. You're right, it's perfect for a group. Just send everyone to get the food they want and come back to a table in the atrium center court...everyone's happy.
Thanks for the tip off!
Awesome video 🍴👍. Please do a Part 2 of this food hall. I wanna see more amazing food. 🍽️🍽️😋
May Almighty bless you and your family
Mmmm, looks brilliant! Must look it up when we next come to NYC! Great vid as always Jon!👏👏👏👍😊
I just do not get enough of your vids. I am DIGGIN them like crazy!! Because I'm not only learning LOADS about so much about NYC and what it has offer, BUT I am inspired to go and visit many many sites and try super DEEE-LICIOUS foods, whether it's street foods, food trucks and/or restaurants. THANKS A MILLION for sharing all of this with us. I know I am truly grateful. I just found your channel not too long ago, so I have a lot of catching up to do, so I binge watch your vids, LOVING them ALL!! Also, my heart goes out to Ben and his family. May he rest in peace. Please know I have them in my Prayers. Arlene
Wow! Great video! All the dishes look delicious! I really enjoy watching your videos!!! Thanks so much, Adriana and Jon. You are awesome! 🥰
Cannot wait to try. Thanks for showing us this food hall.
That African food court looks amazing! It reminds me of the food at the African pavillion at Mosaic which is a celebration of different cultures in my city in Canada. Haven't been to one of those since before the pandemic. Thanks for this video! It makes me miss exotic food!
This has got to be one of the best thing in the world, I've seen so much special stuff from all over the world, but the Hugh is just perfect, thank you so much for sharing :)
This was torture to watch but so much fun. I wanted to try everything. Thanks for taking us along.
Torture to edit too
There’s people who live in rural or suburban areas and have no access to foodie type foods. It can be hard for them with RUclips videos.
Wow, I would love to visit this place one day. The food is the kind of food I love, based on lots of vegetables. So much variety. Thank you for sharing.
You should!
Here now checking this place out! Thank you for the vid.
I love that I have been born and raised in New York, now living in Atlanta, GA and you have introduced me to so many wonderful places. Each time I go back home I try somewhere that either you or Actionkid have mentioned. I am definitely going to the Hugh. Thank you for all your research and hard work.
You are so welcome!
Excellent Video
Thank you for the recommendation for this place👍
That lamb looks super juicy! Food halls always make for great content
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
@Here Be Barr Next time I have to take you & #TeamAdriana to Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad 😃😁
Awesome! Looking forward to another video to showcase some more of those food stands! We also heard that this place has the best cheesecake too? Thanx Jon!
Thanks, giving me some new food ideas when I go to Manhattan again
Going to NYC in March! Thanks for showing this spot, its close to where i’ll be staying 😁
Wow what an awesome place to eat and a great idea. Loved your review I sure you and your better half go back and review more if the many selections to eat. Thanks again
Bill in Fort Wayne Indiana
That clip came just right now that I start planning my visit in May this year 😁
The Hugh will be on the list and Dinner is safe 😇
Food halls never disappoint. Something for everyone !
I loved the Uptown Tarenga spot. This one has a Happy Hour Food menu great! YEEBO!
OMG I work across the street and go in there all the time! There's an entrance right outside the subway and I stop in the morning for coffee! The fish place and the Berlin Kebab place are amazing!
Not only does the art & food look incredible but you both look great in the upscale lighting. I will definitely be paying a visit to the Hugh when I visit in June!
I’m really looking forward to seeing this because it’s at 601 Lexington as well! 🤗👍🏻😉
This was wonderful .. thanks!!
Yummy food tour ,good job
Great video covering these restaurants! I will have to try some of them. My friends meet up here on Friday nights to hang out together and play Nintendo games. It's a good place for groups.
Like to see more eats this Spring! The burger looks incredible and all the food options. The Burger looks like it’s from Dallas BBQ restaurant.
Thank you for showing the African food spot 🤩🤗
The others spots looks good as well-- I will try the Hugh in the future. I really learn from and always enjoy your videos. I have tried many spots you've shown before and loved them!
Thank you 😇 😊
Fantastic, eating is definitely my second favourite thing to do 😋😉
Awesome restaurants. I especially like the West African food. Super healthy and I am sure very tasty 😋
A rare combo of tasty and healthy!
Oh my they all look so good! I just finished a Greek Salad for lunch so now I am curious about Mediterranean stuff that they have there. I hope they have stuffed grape leaves. 😋😋😋. That burger...😋😋😋
Great will check out-thumbs up.
Hey how are you man ! Just wanna let you know i have been watching your vids since i booked my trip to NYC about a year ago, for valentines day with the girlfriend. You helped me out a lot and i have a big ol list to follow, which will be hard to squeeze it in 5 days but i’ll try my best. Can’t wait to be there. Thanks for all the tips.
I’m going to have to really stop by there food looks amazing
Teranga!!! Yes please! My hotel is in midtown when I visit. It looks walkable!
I’ve been meaning to go there, now that’s I’ve seen what you had i need to go there soon especially for the lamb chops.
For a sec thought you going to try all😀 For midtown definitely good to know 👍 Wish was closer to middle like Bryant park but still good.
Thank you so much for show us the Huge. I love that you show us the interesting places to see and where there are good places to eat. My favorite place to eat is Dekalb Market in Brooklyn. I've tried everything and it's all so good. I can't wait to visit again. I'm going for the West African food.😋🥰
Great pick!
Wow I have to go ! Thank you
Love his programs
Bravo
Great content! Lamb chops look amazing - and my buddy hates lamb so a food hall is a perfect solution. I like the look of the place too - Can't wait to go in March.
Hope you enjoy
That’s some fancy food hall! Lamb chops look so good.
Nicely done Jon. I gotta tell you that is one upscale food court. Very classy interior and the food looked beyond delectable. Good find. One thing about your videos. You always leave people wanting more. Keep up the good work. Your friend Mike in Boca. :)
Thanks
Is it expensive? Yes, yes it is. But does it look incredibly tasty. Yes, yes it does. Until the Queens and Bronx night markets open up again, I will definitely hit up this food hall.
Proud member of the Barrio here
All that food looks very good to me. Cheers! ✌️
Dope… I’ll swing by on my next turnaround.
I'm sold. Going to The Hugh Friday after work!
0:44 those lamb chops look amazing
Very interesting, guys!
Can you try the other food places inside please. Like a special vlog. This vlog was very interesting. When I come to New York I want to try there.
You make a great couple!💓💓...food looked lovely omg...
Thank you 😋
Coming over in April from the UK, have to visit this place ! Thanks for the vid
It's literally at the entrance to the E, M and 6 station at 53rd and Lexington. Crawl out of the ground, and BAM...you're there.
@@aptadpamu Thanks, i know where it is but obviously havent been able to visit NYC for the last 2 years, looking foward to visiting it and being back in the best city in the world
Definitely want to try that place that serves the lamb chops
OMG. YUUUUUUMMMY wait for me !!!!!
Check out Citizens food hall in Hudson Yards, which is new also. Some really good options there.
looks great
I visited NY from Pakistan in 2019. Went to BK Jani’s Brooklyn location. Those lamb chops were something else. The Hugh seems like a good spot to visit on my next trip.
Great and informative video as always. Most important question: how do you and Adriana maintain your trim physique with all the wonderful food?
The lamb chops were really, really good. Thanks for sharing. Being from CT, I don't like the closed on weekends though.
Yeah that’s annoying
This looks a great place..thankyou for sharing..does this place get real busy or did you visit at a quiet time ?
Rain or shine there are endless restaurant options or things that you can do in NYC.
All of these places looked amazing, but that Pakistani one for me looked 🔥🔥🔥 I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing you guys visit the other places too.
I watched just drinking coffee. I'm getting gypped lol!
I love your video's John. They are so good to watch and these food ones are always great to see. The Hugh will be a must try. Food looks amazing and you only went to four section's. New York has great food halls. Another one we like is the Todd English one at the Plaza Hotel but this is currently still shut which is a really shame. Although there are a couple of new ones for us to try like the Hugh and Time Out Market in Brooklyn. I just wanted to say a bit thank you to you for all your video's since I came across your content a couple of year's ago at the start of the Pandemic. My family and I live in England and we visit New York most year's. We love it but have had to cancel two trips over the last couple of year's due to you know what. We are however all booked up again for the start of May for a week so fingers crossed we make It this time. Can't wait to be back. Three and a half year's with no New York is to long for us. Your video's however in the meantime have been a joy to watch. It makes me feel in a small way that I am in New York and not missing out on what is going on so I know what to expect when we next visit. I have made so many notes of things you have said and recommended from your video's and we will be making use of these. Visiting Los Taco No1 is a must for instance. Your way of presenting and describing things is so good. My family and I really enjoy your content. We always look forward to a couple of Here Be Barr video's each week. Please keep up the good work and it is great to see how the channel and your success has grown from when you first started. I know it must be hard work but I am sure you and the channel will continue to grow. Good to see good people do well. We really enjoy your content and wish you all the best going forward. It would be great to actually see you walking around filming in NYC when we are there in May. You never know.
First time I have commentated on a video of your's but you have big fans from me and my family here in England and just wanted to post something this time. Keep well.
Thanks
@@HereBeBarr Appreciate the response. Glad to see you read my comment. Appreciate what you do and look forward to the next video’s. Can’t wait to return to New York at the start of May. Flights and hotel all booked. So many of your recommendations to check out. Have a good day and keep up the good work.
4:57 - Baobab is also the name of a disk usage analyzer app for Ubuntu derived Linux distros.
Omg this place is my dream come true
😙😙😙
DEFFFFFFFFFFFFF hitting this spot next time i'm out there
Gorgeous food hall. However, I wish we had more markets in NYC like Borough Hall in London. We have enough malls and chain type restaurants. We need way more fresh produce, speciality stalls, street food type stalls etc just like Borough Market in London.
The best donuts are at the donut project on Morton.
Fun video. What lens are you using?
Thanks for Spanish subs!!!
I never had lamb before. But those looked good.
Si yo estuviera viviendo en NY cargaría en mi bolsa un bote de la hot sauce “huichol “
Well, I know what to spend with my tax returns, another great video
Read The Little Prince. It’s where I first learned of Baobab trees.
It looks so empty while you were there! Is there a time that you would recommend to go when it would be less crowded like that?
i wonder when it will be okay to travel to nyc again. probably not a good idea right now.
I'll be there on Friday
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great video as usual but where is my longer review from earlier gone? It was all very positive just in a lot more detail.
?
@@HereBeBarr I reposted my comment and see it is now up and on the comment's board. Strange. Sorry about that. Great work.
It all looks so delicious. But I am not sure how you could eat it all in one day without getting sick.
that donut looked like a Malasada like we got in Hawaii. Was the place you got it from Portuguese?
I actually think the owner of that cafe is Pakistani.
BK Jani is great! Been to their place in Williamsburg
Yes 🙌🏼
Like Jon mentioned in the video, most of these vendors are established local restaurants with other locations in the city.
African food is amazing!! 😍😍😍
So I don’t know anything about New York haven’t been there in about 15 years what’s inside the Chase building besides the Alamo Drafthouse
Tandoori lamb chops 🤤
Hey waiting for your City Climb at Hudson Yards video....😂😂😂😂scare of Hights lmaoooo....u won't do it 😂😂😂 shouts mate
I'm good on that one, not my thing.
@@HereBeBarr I figured that much....to cold for me definitely trying it in spring...great video as always John
$18 for a hamburger - wow! The food looked amazing!
Midtown pricing
Gimme Gimme!~!!
stop!
Poor Adrianna! The devil made her do it! She just couldn’t resist that donut!
I wonder - was this really filmed in 1 day only and all food eaten by just the 2 of you? :O Also, it is so expensive to try normal food (not fast food) in NY and portions looked so tiny (except for that salmon plate - that one looked delicious and worth the money compared to the small burger for the same price)
1 day back to back to back hahaha
The burger looks so tasty! How does it compare to Shake Shack?
Way spicier, more flavors. Not an American style burger at all, at least the most famous one.
@Here Be Barr Double-Double animal style in In-N-Out any time over Shake Shack 😃😄😬
@@homerb3368 fascist
Is the price a little steep for a self service food hall?
Def on brand for the location but not inexpensive at all
West African food is super healthy
