I am a straight mother of six children who is just lovin'on Rufus for his talents, his charm and because his life experiences touch my heart. I don't want anyone to presume one must share sexual preferences in order to feel the same emotions. Rufus rules...Rufus rocks...Rufus is gay and is PERFECT that way.
Thank you very much for posting. Have been living out of the country and didn't see it, though knew of Rufus's mom, passing…as even in Italy, she was famous. Is famous. Respected. As is Rufus. I really enjoy the risks he takes, not because, as many would say, because I am gay and he is, as well. More because I have taken risks, as well, not all the same, in fact little in common as to the risks we have taken, but risks all the same, for both. I find him refreshing as he is not, as many do, seeking the attention and spotlight through huge productions and performances (though his 'Judy' concert the spotlight was on him and the attention given to that concert was enormous, and again, risky, for him) and he does not have the best of voices, but in his lyrics and his natural persona, he is insightful and delightful. He can make you laugh and cry in the same breathe. He is, like my idol Stephen Sondheim, a genius when it comes to lyrics. Some would say it takes a shrink to understand them all, as they say about Sondheim, yet I understand the metaphors and such, quickly. Am glad he does do an interview on occasion, as he is an inspiration, to me. We are about the same age and have had similar experiences. I understand him, as much as he will allow, through his writing. Anyway, again, thank you. Could see you in the background, reflections of you on RUclips….so to speak..and heard your dog, too. I would have been out of my mind…miming to the dog to be quiet, that I was recording….but per the 'reflection' you were seemingly calm…that is cool. Peace Out! ~ Gary
Oh, I know this is far from perfect... the dog was barking and the phone was ringing while I was recording this :-) on CBS on can find a perfect version
thanks. watched this on CBS this morning. Just an observation: your reflection (including your camera) is in the video on the left side, as well as a wall treatment across the top. don't know if you realize this.
The quality of this video is horrible. The person who recorded it, apparently is reflected in the TV screen and his dog barks periodically. Nice idea, but it given the quality, it should not find its way to RUclips. Sorry.
Fantastico Rufus! Talento immenso! Voce unica! Amazing and Gorgeous
