Oven-roasted turkey
Ingredients:
1 whole turkey (7 kg) - taken out of the fridge approx. 2 h before
For the flavored butter:
250 g butter 82% fat (at room temperature)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 head of garlic
5-6 sprigs of parsley
5-6 sprigs of thyme
3-4 sprigs of rosemary
For the inside of the turkey:
1 lemon
1 apple
1/2 orange
1 onion
1 head of garlic
2-3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
5-6 sprigs of parsley
3-4 sprigs of thyme
3-4 sprigs of rosemary
*a meat thermometer
*80-85° C inside the breast
Baking guide:
4-6 kg -- 3 h - 4 h
6-8 kg -- 4 h - 5 h
