Drop! by Jacob Bride. Played by the National Concert Band of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets

This piece was commissioned for the National Concert Band's 25th Anniversary in 2020 but it was not premiered until Easter 2022 due to the pandemic. The piece meshes traditional military musical themes with electronic dance music and played on wind and brass instruments. The piece is entitled 'Drop!' as a reference to air drops by military aircraft as well as describing whent the piece climaxes into a beat drop. Look out for the unusual percussion including an anvil and bin lids.....
