My wife and I had a great time at Tabs' Voice of the Wetlands festival in 2018, but we weren't impressed with Louisiana's Leroux. Other local bands were more interesting, in my opinion; lots of good guitar slingers jamming with Tab for the Friday Night Guitar Fight; Chubby Carrier and the Zydeco Swamp Band were excellent, and Eric McFarland jamming with Doug Wimbush and Taz Niedermayer were phenomenal. The festival was only lightly attended but the crowd size more than doubled for Louisiana's Leroux who headlined on the last day. I guess some people, including the locals, don't really know what they have there....
No one performs this song like Tab. Period!
