You're gonna love the kindle. So much more convenient and compact especially when reading in bed. I just ordered the same model which is an addition to my kobo. I'm using both brands because in Canada we can't access libby to borrow library books like in the USA. There is actually a new paperwhite released thus year. It's the same device but with 16G rather than 8G..unless you're downloading audio books the 16G is not required.
So far I'm really loving it!! Reading on it is so easy and having all my books in one spot is amazing. I do download audiobooks but I've always done that in my audible app on my phone, so not a big deal at all! ✨🙌🏼

Hello Karenna, Great to have a new Kindle. I have a goal for 2023 to read more books as well. I have a heck of a time finding time to work shift work and do my RUclips channel and read. I will however a personal goal because there are so many great books now. I appreciate a good follow up on makeup as well. We have very similar tastes. I did also try the Sky High mascara but while agree it is hard to remove stays put until you are ready to take it off I did not like it. I find the brush to flimsy for me hard to coat my lashes because it is flimsy lol. Read world problems here with mascara lol. The Tarte juicy lippies I love those so nice and I have grapefruit as well. Enjoy the cookies great to catch up with you.
I hear you on the work/life balance and reading is so hard to squeeze in! What books are you planning to read in 2023? I'm making a list of ones I want to look into down the road.
