Boundary Cone Mountain Trail, Arizona, USA

Boundary Cone is a geologic promontory located in the western foothills of the Black Mountains in Mohave County, Arizona. The peak is to the east of the Mohave Valley, northeast of Needles, California, and southeast of Bullhead City. The peak is about 4 miles (6 km) southwest of the mountain community of Oatman and 12 miles (19 km) east of the Colorado River.

I learned from my previous day of hiking that it's not much fun or is it easy to hike the desert anytime close to midday when it's 110 degrees or more. Having grown up in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and our summers are very humid and can attain a "feels like" temp of 100 degrees. I've heard many tell me "Arizona is a dry heat". After my experiences here I will confidently say, I don't care how "dry" it is....it's F'n HOT!
