I believe Monaco's life expectancy has more to do with their being one of the countries of the highest average wealth in the world lol. PS. I swear when you hinted that the most valuable company would be surprising, I thought you would say it was Lego
Since we're talking about Monaco, they show 3 images for it. The first one is indeed Monaco, but the second is Nice, and the third is Menton. Just wanted to add it somewhere.

One out of four citizens in Monaco is a millionaire so yes.

About nr. 50. San Marino is considered to be the oldest country in Europa. It was formed in 310 AD, while Bulgaria was formed in 632 AD.
san marino is not a country
@@apollo8381 It most certainly is. It is recognized as a sovereign nation. Yes it's small, but that doesn't mean that it's not a country.
Right, and Modern Bulgaria is independent since the XIX century - less years than the Countries in Latin America.
@@carlinhostucho Still it is not a new country :D We were nearly 500 years under turkish captivity.
San Marino is the oldest country in the world that remained pretty much unchanged since its foundation
I really enjoyed your video. thanks a lot!!
Good job....thanks
Wow! Nice facts❤
Hi. As a person living in Norway I would like to point out that Nordkapp (North cape) is NOT the northernmost point. On the same island is Knivskjellodden that is about 1,5 km. further north. But if You include islands then Rossøya north of Svalbard is the northernmost. On the mainland of Europe Kinnarodden is the northernmost point.
How do you even pronounce Knivskjellodden?
@@aaronocalli096 The K is not silent, so for Englishspeakers, it would be something like "Kn-eve-shell-odd'n". And it means The Knife Shell Point. Knife shell is a type of clam.
Hi I'm from Africa can I ask help
You're Just too lucky to be born in norway.
@@urmum6047 Well said Adolf Kitler.
wow really interesting :) thank you :)
Amazing video :)
Like your facts very much, there are so contemporary ❣️🥂
No, North Cape is not the northernmost point in Europe. At 2:44 you can clearly see that the norther tip of Knivskjellodden is further north. Of course, way further north we have the whole archipelago of Svalbard...
As for the one furthest west we have both Iceland and the Azores islands. If the narrator means the points on the mainland, then the North Cape is on an island too. In that case, it would be the Norwegian peninsula of Kinnarodden that is the northernmost point.
is Ireland not furthest west ?
I think the Franzjosef archipelago is further north than Svalbard.
@@towaritch yes but i dont think it is still europe
@@joeennis2571 the fact was about continental Europe, Iceland isn’t a part of it
@@spongebubatz ...and neither is the island of Magerøya, which holds the Nordkapp. This was my point originally.
Monaco has the highest life expectancy because any resident can afford the best medical care lmao
Largest castle is in India (either the Mehrangahr fort in Jodhpur or the Amer fort in Jaipur) - however they are named 'forts' due to colonial English terminology: a defensive structure with garrisons of soldiers. However royal families did live there (so are no different from European castles).
we have forts and castles in Europe too, in wich both royal families lived, so a fort is NOT a castle. Then the Mehrangahr fort is the largest fort in the world, but not the largest castle, simply "cause is not a castle.
Always a delight to learn the world's details.
Very interesting facts! Makes me want to go to Europe.

I really want to. We might go sometime but probably in 2024. Is it better to come in summer or winter?
No, fuck your country
I'd really love to visit Kazakhstan but I've met only two persons from your country, both in Germany. The first one is a wonderful lady who helped me really effectively to get a nice job. The other one is a guy whom I worked with and I invited him once at my place only to find out when he left that my smartphone was missing.
Dimash...Kazakhstan Sun.
A bit naive to think that monaco's life expectency is high because of its geography and diet. It is so obviously the absence of poverty and the migration of wealthy people. This makes for tons of money in the health care system and less systemic health problems - such as a low quality diet (regarding involuntary price-based choices, not choice of cuisine) or harsh working conditions.
I'm asian but I like Europe so much
For me, the most surprising fact was, that Europe is a continent, that is located entirely in the northern and eastern hemisphere 😂😂
thanks
Interesting fact: Europe isn't entirely in the eastern hemisphere. Ireland, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Greenland are all in Europe yet west of the Prime Meridian.
And Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Wales, parts of France, most of England.
But Greenland is not in Europe. Geographically it's part of North America.
@@mr_mattone3379 tectonically it's North America. Just like Alaska is tectonically Eurasia.
@@SadaEKE No, I think you got something mixed up there. Alaska is indeed part of North America but the very eastern part of Russia is on the North American plate.
@@mr_mattone3379 oh right. Sorry for the mix up. You're right about the Kamchatka being on the North American Plate.
However, Iceland is divided between North American Plate and Eurasian Plate.
With the cultural diversity, quality of living, gdp and (mostly) countries with democracy and liberal society (most LGBTIQ+ frendliest countries) - all it makes Europe the best place on the planet for living and especially for young people... this is why i moved here (living in Barcelona) and do not regret it!

WW2 was also in Asia and North Africa. Asia saw in 34 million deaths.
#5, since there is not one but at least three theories where are the borders of Europe, and they differ greatly, there is no one geographical center of Europe.
Hail father Europe!!!!
"and funny accents" :D I don't have an accent when speaking my native language :P (german)
@ima sinner.. ive sinned why would that be important?
@Miguel Ângelo You mean dialects, not accents ;) And yes, there are many dialects in german language.
@Miguel Ângelo Other native speakers will hear I'm a native speaker as well and they will recognize that I'm from the north. But that's more a dialect than an accent, even though our dialect is not that strong compared with swabian or bavarian which don't understand very well.
Anyway, the german accent is quite strong when speaking other languages. In many cases I can tell a person is from Germany when he/she speaks english. One sentence is enough :P
@Miguel Ângelo Liguistically spoken: A dialect is a variation of the same language which is usually intelligible to all other variations. So I suppose you understand Brazilian Portuguese as well as Angolan and probably even Portuguese from East-Timor? (Which is quite cool, I'd say)
An accent, on the other hand, is (among other things) the influence of pronounciation and stressing the native language has when speaking another language. As I said before, it's easy for me to identify germans when they speak english because of their (our) accent. No matter what dialect they speak in daily language. And of course, the own dialect always is the correct one and the best. ;)
@Miguel Ângelo So then maybe it's just the german language in which we distinguish between "Akzent" and "Dialekt" as I described earlier. Could be.
Iceland & Faroe Islands ❤
0:09 - Not entirely. Ireland and Portugal are entirely in the western hemisphere. Most of the UK and most of Spain also, as well as part of France.
10:57, 11:43 Munich, Marienplatz long time no see.

1. If we don't know the easternmost point of Europe, how did we get the center
2. From my own research, I found the center of Europe to most likely be northwest of the town of Shelegi, Belarus.
Fun :-) Why did you illustrate #26 Highest Valued Company in Europe (6:51) with shots of Minsk, capital of Belarus?..
2:14 When I lived in Australia in 1994-1997, the population was said to be about 17 million. How can there now be 42 million? According to Google it's around 26 million! The Netherlands, in Europe, is the second largest exporter of agricultural products in the world after the USA.
I believe that is the 'Continental region' of Austrailia, so it includes Papua New Guinea (9M) and Western Guinea (Indonesia (5.6M))

The Greek island of Gavdos can be regarded as the least ambiguous southernmost point of Europe.
You forgot Madeira and Canárias
I believe San Marino is actually the oldest country in Europe and in the world
EUROPE is so beautiful, i wish i can go to Europe ❤
Europe's most westerly point is Slea Head in County Kerry in Ireland
No it isn't. It is Cabo da roca like he said if referring to mainland Europe. If you are going to include islands then Iceland and the Azores are both more westerly than Ireland.
2:44 Rudolf Island and Svalbard left the chat
These one for Americans:
*Indeed, Europe is a continent and not a country*
Another fact the newgrange tomb in Ireland is older then the pyramids of egypt. Little sad to not see it mentioned although its another European fact.
Good video, but not a great start the first sentence (and the vid description) is just incorrect. The vast majority of UK and Spain, some of France, and all of Portugal, Ireland, and Iceland are in the western hemisphere. So Europe is definitely not entirely in the eastern hemisphere. You do go on to correct that error in the video, but still.... contradictions.
There are so many mistakes here that is hard to comment
Kosovo is not recognized by Spain either, among others. Don’t present it as Slavic conspiracy…
Perucica , Bosnia 😍🇧🇦
8:20 Europe is not only home to World War II. It was also home to World War I and has a strong potential to become home to World War III. In other words, Europe is chronically pregnant with world wars.
Nord cape is not the northernmost point
Europe is not entirely in the Eastern Hemisphere. Spain, England, and France are partially in the Western Hemisphere, while Iceland, Ireland, North Ireland, Scotland, and Wales are entirely in the Western Hemisphere.
yeah really don’t get why he said that
Spain is 98% on the western side (except for some coastline in the mediterranean sea and the Balearic islands, while Portugal is 100% in the western side :P
Don't forget French Guiana which is partially under French jurisdiction. :)
In fact nummber #5 14:13 the center of europe is mentioned. The problem is that there ar more tých 4 countries saying that the center of europe is there just like lithuania, Slovakia, poland, Germany.... Depending on the mesurements it is still not shure where it is. Because it is not sale exactly where the continent at the hral moumtains dnes. So everyone can say what they want. I think it is in Slovakia.

San marino is the oldest Republic in the world
San Marino is the oldest existed country in Europe and the world. It gained independence from the Roman Empire in 301 AD. Bulgaria did exist in the 7th century, but annexed by the Ottomans in the 12th century. Bulgaria gained independence in the early 1900s.
