See now, in the fallout 3 one, I believe the child's body is in the footlocker on the upper shelf above the bedding. It is very easy level lock with nothing inside. I suspect that the son died, they crammed him inside, maybe even having to break the legs or something to fit him in. The parents are both facing towards the footlocker, as though they maybe poisoned themselves or something while facing the box. This way, they could join their son. Again, literally every time you access the box, it is empty-I have opened it about 20 different times and with max luck, etc and never anything. In some Bethesda games, corpses, skeletons can be accessed like a container but not in fallout 3. Which I suspect is why, you gain nothing because there is nothing in there you can access in it.
I've played Fallout 3 so many times that I really don't think that counts as a secret 😅 It isn't that hard to find. I think I would've put the Arlington Cemetery in the list instead. I've talked to so many Fallout fans who missed that area and I still get lost in those subways to this day 😂
@FunGameGirl97 the cemetery? There is a house there with a bobble head-the luck one, same house also has a particular raider that only spawns if you are a regulator. If you want to talk about easily missed locations then maybe Takoma Park. Another location where you get there via the subway tunnels. Has a behemoth and a shop with a unique baseball cap and that is about it. As for it being a sad location or one that you would regret stumbling into, which was the premise of the video, I don't think it counts either. A somber location yes, but the implications of what it is is self evident.
@seanromine3932 i think the video covered emotionally painful and just the act of getting the Easter egg as painful, so that's why I put in the pain in the ass subway traversal to get to the cemetery. I agree with you on the Takoma park part, though! It definitely fits as more of an Easter egg than the cemetery

I played Sacred 1 (from defunct Ascaron) with the expansion Underworld, and wondered why within the game I could do a port onto a sandy island with tourists. Maybe they copied Tibias level 999 island. (they copied Tristram, too, but that one is integrated in the main story). Ah yes, they also placed a tavern in there that is called Ascaron's Call...
How ANY of these were initially found without the use of an official guide or data-mining is a frickin' MIRACLE! The level of convolution involved is brain melting… These poor kids will never know the pure glee and excitement we felt reading the cheat code section of whatever video game magazine we enjoyed, learning that a game we'd binged for the last 6 months had a hidden character, level, money cheat or OP weapon… and all without these greedy micro-transactions. UGH! It was brief, but what a beautiful time to be a gamer! haha Look, I know development of a game for current gen consoles requires exponentially more money and talent than the 16-bit era did, and YES, I know I sound like some grandpa… but loot-boxes and micro-transactions have RUINED the current state of gaming. It's just an accepted evil that… A) You don't OWN ANYTHING anymore, it's almost strictly digital now, and B) You don't get a complete, fully fleshed-out experience at release (if we're lucky enough to even get a PLAYABLE GAME at launch). The disarm ending of MGS V has a little bit of backstory since dataminers and achievement hunters with some hacking insight discovered that there are FOB actually out of the "network" which can't be invaded with legitimate methods, by intentional design, therefore it's impossible to reach this ending at all as of today There's a video from didyouknowgaming that talks about this, but since then maybe the situation has changed
