Aside from the video Rob made a long time ago about "Existencial and the Recovery mindset", this has got to be the best one I've ever seen. Everything you said, soo relatable, the inumerous questions, the feeling of disconection, and glad you also brought up the part of Cycling between themes, it's one of those things that doesn't get spoken a lot. I had this happen to me in january, where all the sudden my OCD kind of switched to sensorimotor in regard of my vision and at that moment i felt like i was in constant suffering and there was no getting out of it. But then time went passing and with the help and info of this channel i started to feel much better to the point where now, it's been a couple of weeks of feeling a baseline state of calmness and rationality, still with some ups and downs during days but at least the sensorimotor part of my OCD seems to have basicly disapeared since that episode, and now It's just me and my good old pal Existencial OCD, wich honestly I'm not even mad, I feel like in the last 2 months I'm starting to not even see it as a scary enemy anymore, and watching this video today really helped to gain hope and continue moving forward!
Awesome comment Andre - We are glad to hear her video has been insightful! Also - Glad to hear the sensorimotor is going well! Hopefully my content was helpful there.
Thank you for that detailed feedback, that's the aim of our channel - to give people hope and not make them feel alone in their suffering. We will surely cover this topic in more detail + we will be doing a webinar on it in the next month or so if you're interested in joining. :)
That's exaclty what happened to me. Started as a panic/DPDR situation after a bad weed experience, became existencial ocd and then sensorimitor. I couldn't stop noticing my vision and realizing that I was looking at an image created by my brain, not at actual things, etc etc and couldn't stop suffering about that and about never ever thinking about that before.. I'm getting better everyday and sitting with the discomfort but it was really hard
Wow, Mariane, thank you so much for sharing your story and shedding light on Existential OCD fears! It's incredible to see how you overcame them and became stronger. Your journey gives hope to others who might be struggling with similar challenges. Your courage and resilience are truly inspiring. Keep spreading awareness and positivity!
She could of literally been describing my own experience. Everything she said was so on point.
Did you recover?
@@mastepara yeah👍
Mariane! Back for round two! Your videos help instill so much hope!
Seriously spot on to what I struggled with!!! & I’m still working on! I would love to know even more on how you got through the existential & self harm themes💕
Yeah we plan to cover more videos on this topic :)
Exactly the same💯
Fr really seems like the self harm themes go alongside existential themes
Did you recover?
So so relatable... thank you Mariane, I appreciate your content on this channel !
What type of thoughts do u have?
Acceptance sets you free.
are people with this type of OCD afraid of dark and large bodys of water ?
I lalit myself
I have been suffering from a disease called existential OCD for a very long time. I continuously ask questions from myself about life and language like especially language like who made the language how he knew the particular word will be pronounced in a certain way. What does happen mean ? What does want means and why do we want anything and why do we imagine about something and who told us to imagine what its relevance . I know this may sound illogical to you and it is illogical for a normal person at a certain point of time everyone can encounter these types of questions which are acceptable to a certain extent it creates a problem when the questions start running in your mind 24 × 7 over the same question over and again and hampers your daily activities, your personal life and most importantly your ability to think logically.
I hope i would overcome from this problem one day.
One day is not certain
Hi Lalit, I can relate! Not exactly with the same questioning but it‘s allways the same type of uncertain philosphycal stuff which can get me latched! Some days feel fine and the next one could be a desaster… I hope you recover soon. Wish you all the best. You are not alone! By the way I speak swiss german😂 not wanted to trigger you by that! Just wanted to remind you that you still can have fun in your life. Thats a huge motivator which works for me❤
Hello Lalit, dont worry brother, i understand ur problem. Everything in this universe is working very perfectly. Illogical questions do not deserve any trial. u know y cuz illogical thoughts are in milliins and billons in numbers, literally bro and all those billions illogical questions are garbage in front of one logical question/thought. Newtons one thought on gravity has benefitted humanity in a great way and ur illogical garbage thoughts would not create a single penny. I hope u got my point bro. Let the question swim without paying attention and it will disappear with time.
@@Ahmad7farhan yes bro now I am fine 😊
Same thoughts and compulsion’s as me thank you for this education ❤❤❤
We are glad you enjoyed her video - more videos by Mariane to come!
And me, i thought it was just me going through this❤

Are you better?
This is me
