Great video man. Spot on assessment of our drink as well.
The goal was creating something with a unique and potent actives profile, while also being mindful of solubility and taste in a carbonated RTD format.
If the primary goal is just maximum effect and enjoying a ready to drink carbonated product is not something that factors into the value proposition at all, then absolutely get either a powder or capsule formula.
If drinking something that tastes good is still appealing but the dose/price ratio is more of a concern, and having it in an RTD carbonated format is not a high priority, our flavored powder formula 'Respawn' (mentioned briefly in my video) is a more potent format of this formula with higher dosages and other ingredients, with minimal regard for solubility (comes to about $1.35 after a coupon code per serving), and serves as a solid in between option.
And then finally, if maximizing bang for the buck is the primary goal without any desire to flavor it or drink it, buying the ingredients separately in bulk and creating your own stack is what will offer the most flexibility and be the most cost effective way to get those same ingredients.
You can buy empty capsules as well and create your own Nootropic formulas at home in capsule format if toss and washing unflavored powders doesn't sound desirable.
Ultimately, wherever you fall on that spectrum should dictate which you choose, and I think this video helps elucidate that.

What youre talking about is your “perceived” value of the supplements assuming the ingredients are important in the first place. Most of the ingredients he claims are in “efficacious” doses have either limited/negligible science around them or have non-replicated short term poor quality studies. Alpha gpc is garbage and is a great example of this. He’s not a chemist, biochemist, food scientist, or doctor. Examine is a horrible resource if you dont know how to read or parse through research. Even eugene is misrepresenting “going deeper” into the research. Derek has naturopathic doctors in his cash grab telehealth clinic. He is not looking out for you he is just a marketer.

I think the main takeaway is that even though Derek's drink doesn't have the heaviest dosages, you might have to have 2-3 of his drinks that day to reach the recommended efficacious dose, he's not trying to be misleading in any type of way. Even if you don't offer the greatest product imaginable, and I think Derek's drink is great, as long as people know what they are getting then there's nothing wrong being done. Also, even then his energy drink is one of the best formulated ones out there with proper effort and care put into it.

You almost have to sell these products as part of a diet/workout plan if you want to avoid lawsuits, because then you have the customer’s attention, you can make sure you aren’t supplying them with too much, and you can make sure they understand the dangers of taking too much.
However even that may be difficult because you can’t really predict what kind of nutrients they will get from their food. So if you are providing an effective dose the customer may still overdose. Like for example, maybe they see an energy drink they want to try but it actually was a workout/health drink with a small dosage of something they were already taking and without them knowing it they overdose and start feeling side effects.
I’ve seen many vitamins on amazon with idiots that leave comments talking about them getting a side effect/symptom from using a really high dose used by medical patients that have a deficiency and need a high dose, but because most people are stupid they don’t do any research into what dosages a normal person should take.

The only supplements that work are (1) Stacker 2 (and look what happened to it), (2) pre-workout supplements that give you a tangible energy boost, and protein supplements for convenience as it can be difficult to get a lot of protein through food.
