I have almost the same socket set my dad gave in in the Mid 80's. Mine has the screwdrivers+hex keys with 3/8+1/2in sockets+ratchets!! Never going to get rid of cause it Craftman USA. Have to check if mine case says Sears Craftman!! No issues w/my case.

I was actually considering buying land. After watching lots of Videos of you and others doing similar thing, I decided I could not handle this life. Single woman up there in years, very little tools, know how and low budget.... Not a good fit for me... I like the idea of quiet peaceful place to hang and call home.
its not easy.. it can be done just need a solid plan and much simpler than mine. water source and storage, well insulated structure, heat/cool source, enough solar and battery storage to handle your usage, generator, maybe a cell phone booster if the signal is bad. inside the structure a way to cook like a camp stove, small fridge, bathroom, compost toilet, and you are good to go. dont give up just make a plan.
A very nice fix for this box. This is a common problem we all have with those heavy sockets in a plastic case with weak hinges. Rivets work perfectly, like bolts with less fuss. Screws would not work. I have a vintage hard plastic case where hinges broke off in the back and it would be nice to restore it. For removing rivets you should drill through it, no need for cutting them. Some English tips: They never worked WELL (not GOOD). Bad American habit. WELL is an adverb when used like this. GOOD is a noun or adjective but not an adverb. An Adverb qualifies a Verb. WORKED is the verb, WELL is the adverb that qualifies the verb. Verbs are action words. BECAUSE, not BECUS.
