An extremely rare Yugo Zastava 55A Van with an incredible 14,780 miles from new.
EQUIPMENT
Body protection mouldings, front skirt, laminated windscreen, halogen headlamps, load adjustable headlamps, heated rear screen, rear wash/wipe, plastic arch liners, electric washers, cigar lighter, reclining seats, head restraints, centre console, tool kit, locking fuel filler, vanity mirror. Dealer options; Yugo mudflaps (never fitted), Yugo door edge protectors, International KL3000 radio cassette, rear load liner.
EXTERIOR
This extraordinary rare Yugo 55A Van reputed to be the only example remaining in the UK has been preserved in astonishing original condition. Finished in factory original Vintage Burgundy (code 181), the paintwork boasts a polished finish with no fading or lacquer damage. Absolutely no corrosion to the underside or factory panels, the uniform paint finish has only minor stone chips and a small bleb to the bonnet. The perfectly square jacking points and Yugo door protectors show the care bestowed upon this cossetted example, with even the dealer number plates are fitted front and rear and a set of unused Yugo mudflaps supplied! A pristine engine bay displays factory plates and stickers including the ‘Made in Yugoslavia’ sticker. To further emphasize the remarkable originality, even the paint colour code sticker remains in the boot area, which is incredibly clean and damage free for a van! Perfect for somebody wanting the ultimate dare to be different classic commercial vehicle!
INTERIOR
Truly commensurate with the amazingly low mileage of 14,780, the interior of this classic Yugo is preserved in near showroom condition. The original grey cloth upholstery is spotless and free from wear, as are the colour scheme grey carpets. The synthetic fibre door cards show minor markings. The design of the interior certainly follows the theme of grey with the amusingly boxy fascia and steering wheel finished in the same shade! All beautifully preserved, only a tiny glue residue to the dash top from a removed tidy tray prevents using the word perfect. Original items such as the optional working International KL3000 radio cassette, radio blanking plate and complete tool kit remain exactly as Yugo intended. The cargo area offers a maximum payload of 325kg and it’s hard to imagine anything more taxing than balloons and pillows have ever been transported in this example! Humble, functional and delightfully spartan, but very charming.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The four cylinder 1116cc OHC engine with Weber style carburettor develops a spritely 55bhp to achieve a top speed of 90mph with 0-60 figures not manufacturer quoted! The five speed manual gearbox remains taught thanks to such minimal usage and the fifth gear offers surprisingly civilised cruising at motorway speeds.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Five 4½j x 13 steel wheels in pristine order are shod in matching 145/80 R13 tyres with masses of tread remaining. The original Yugo centre caps are all intact. The braking system incorporating front discs and rear drums has just been fully overhauled and offers straight and steady stopping capabilities.
HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Yugo Reading on 7th August 1991, this extraordinary example has defied the odds and survived in a totally preserved state, owing largely to the mere 14,780 miles covered from new. Fastidious ownership with just four former keepers, many years in the hands of enthusiasts has certainly played a part in the vehicles surviving state. An impressive history file includes the original Yugo Cars plastic wallet housing all handbooks, service schedule, point of sale literature and even the salesman and after sales manager business cards! The history file further consists of many previous MOT certificates and invoices to help support the very low mileage, including evidence of servicing and maintenance carried out this year.
Marketing literature and sales brochures supplied are a delight to read and complete the overall package for a vehicle that has evaded the fate of virtually all its equivalents.
MOT May 2016, HPI Clear, Approved Used Car Check. Авто/Мото

I have a 55A yoke car is carbureted, the problem that a complete catalog of the engine deals with to see how the distributor's position is going and to be able to set the times well here in Costa Rica, almost nobody knows that car throws explosions through the carburetor on the Internet. nothing of that car is found related to what has already been mentioned
Ok

Fiat 127 and this car are completly the same! 127 was stoped producing in 1984 and then Yugo came to US-market beacuse in 1986 to 1992 beacuse of manager's ambition which susceded to do it for its self..
Still have my Yugo here in austin, TX

The Ford Pinto made from 1971-1980. had the worst spot for years worse than the Yugo at least the Yugo didn't explode in a rear end collision as THE WORSC AR MADE DUE MTO IFYOU GOT REARENDED THE DAM THINGS GAS TANK MRUPTTYED AND KILL ANT ONE IN THJE BACK SEAT. we USED TO SEWEA FORF PINTO WITRH A FLAMMABLE STICKER ON IT A LAUAGH. If you wanted to drive a Pinto the some is insurance companies I kid you not made you sign a waiver of lawsuit form before they would insure it. The AMC Pacer from 1975-1980 made worst car No 2. The Ford Pinto almost bankrupted ford Moter Company back in the 70's true auto fact
