@Eliteco3 do you work directly with SGC or use a 3rd party to do group subs? I'm about to start subs for rhe 1st time & a group in Boca Raton is being recommended. I'm leaning toward SGC directly. Of course, I'll need PSA for autograph grading and some other high end cards it seems.
Being 50 years old, I still remember the relevance and beauty of the 84-87 Donruss sets for what they were. They were expensive to rip back then. In 1989, 1984 Donruss wax was up to $10 a pack already at my LCS! The designs have aged so well. They are IMO, the best looking junk wax cards ever produced.
I consider myself lucky that i grew up in the 80s. The cards have very little value and I love them. Pure nostalgia. Never forget the dumpster my friend.
Great sub, looked fun. Shame most of those cards are under appreciated in such grades. Wish people would value 8's and 9's more especially on anything 2010 or before.
It's nice to see someone who collects defensive NFL legends. I feel they don't get the hobby love they deserve. What do you think it would take to swing the hobby in that direction? Is it even possible?
@@Eliteco3 I think most people flock to PSA for the 💰. Simply put, PSA slabs sell for more and people want to maximize their profits. Influencers do have a huge impact on the hobby for good and for bad. I admit that your videos have led me to discover a ton of amazing cards and I thank you for that. Cheers.
@@Eliteco3 I know personally for my Hank and Willie mays run and vintage in general, I only buy SGC. So if I had a registry to add them to, I’d be happier. Nonetheless, I still send subs to them. Prepping one now actually.
There he is! Glad to see another reveal. Nice grades on the 85 Donruss cards. Such a tough one and looking forward to you hitting a 10 on one of them! 85 Topps, Donruss, Fleer are all a heck of a challenge.
@@Eliteco3 I'm sure happy about collecting/investing in Vintage HOF'ers investment graded PSA/SGC/BVG well centered with nice eye appeal in the last 15 years. Last PWCC auction I purchased a 1961 Killebrew in PSA 8 (very well centered with very nice eye appeal for $156 total including buyers fees. I've been looking for this card for years, it's very tough to get centered. This card just a few years back was going for $200 plus for a 60/40. I'm still having fun.
Love this era and the choice to go with the tux. Grateful that you continue to post your subs!
Enjoying the subs with SGC very fair grades

@Eliteco3 has sgc came down in price recently? I can't justify sending to them at what they have been charging in relation to psa way to close
Always a good day with a new Eliteco3 video!!

agreed. love the contrast of the white cards with the black SGC slab
@@Eliteco3 The tuxedos look great on the 85's 'and 87's especially. They are next to impossible to GEM but if you get one, it's pretty special. 👍
Always love the look of the Ed Reed in the SGC slab
me too
Always love seeing these. Thanks for sharing!
thanks man
I love the commentary also as much as the cards.
I love the cards you grade. Thank you for sharing.
thank you
Nothing like seeing a great dumpster dive. Your selection of what to grade is the best out there. Good stuff.
I love seeing the '88 Topps football slabbed. That's the year i first really got into collecting. Great😊 stuff as always

I won't I am a child of the 80's and 90's so they are special to me
Great cards. Thanks for the video!
Was just hoping you’d drop another video. Perfect timing!
Had enough of PSA?
We are getting to that point
These are the best types of orders man. These cards are so nostalgic to me. Excellent video as always!
The 1987 Donruss Puckett... That's one of my all time favorite cards of him. Super photo , great card..
Love the Bellingham griffey
Mandatory Vick took awhile
I’m sorry
as i have grown older, i have grown more fond of the diamond kings
Me too. As a kid I hated them and treated them poorly
Next time, please ask the workers next door to keep it down...inform them that there's an Eliteco3 video being filmed. ✌️
Will do
i will say that 1990 fleer football is alot nice looking then the 1990 baseball fleer
The 🐐 is back!! 🔥 SGC Love me some Tony Gwynns ALL day

Just a heads up, Yzerman is pronounced as (I)zerman Y like an I. Good stuff as always. Lot's of Eagles!!!

Love all of those 80s cards. Even the 1990 Fleer Football!
One of the best card tubes out ‼️

Influencers. Same reason the sheep flock to PSA

Another amazing batch of favorites. I'd imagine with pop counts as low as this batch, the right person would pay up for these slabs.
There are some nice sales at times
Great stuff as always, Nolan! Happy to see you still sub with SGC and aren’t all about the 💰
SGC are the best graders in the hobby IMO
@@Eliteco3 it’s not even close. Do you think if they added a set registry they’d catch more market share? Curious your opinion on that.

I've got 2 large trunks of 85 thru 92 unopened wax and unopened factory sets in the garage. Think I'll keep them in there.
Nice Thurman Thomas!!

very tough to hit a 10. Some nice 9.5's though
Loved it! Super fun reveal Nolan!
thanks buddy
Love those junk wax. Great video. Where is your store?
It’s online eBay Cardboard Futures
Curtis Martin was a Beast.
Yes
Need some cookies from the mail bin and or a live!
I love the Topps finest cards, I have few I'm going send in.
Very cool
Record some more videos of box breaks like you use to do when you looked for cards to grade.
I could do that with the slab cans
Classic Eliteco!!
🙌great reveal
Here WEEEEE Gooooo! #Gawtdammit lol my man coe3
You going to be in Cleveland this year big dawg?
I no longer enjoy collecting sports cards. This toxic environment has put a damper on my collecting spirit. I'll check in next year.
Yzerman pronounced eye-zerman
Great video Nolan. They are very stingy with the Gold Labels lately. You would think that out of all of those cards you would at least get one.
Ya I didn’t think any were pristine either
We love BGS. Long live Beckett
Not a fan but to each there own
No For Sale sign on the car or house, yet.
Nope. Doing fine in the hobby

You gotta know what you're looking for and snap it up.
Hello Nolan
Hello Shorty, what are you doing?
You need a filter on your mic can hear breading
agreed. I will work on improving this
Didn’t know you had a bread machine running while filming.
Maybe replace the mail truck with a bread truck?
I didn’t feel like re filming
So Sad.
