This totally DON'T make ANY sense... Extreme whitewashing... Why would deliver drivers race if it's not their money/policy, it's company policy/money? Dumbest excuse ever... Yet they don't pay enough for work, so people have to tip delivery drivers. Yet they prolly still pay per delivery, not by hour. Also, even if not faster you deliver the higher the chances of getting tips for fast delivery also faster you deliver, the more delivers per hour, so more customers able to tip you etc. So it's one BIG BS, whitewashing...
I remember when Pizza Hut and Dominos stopped doing the 30 minutes or less. Funny thing is, even if they still have the policy on their website, the second to last line in the "policy" he shows shows why he wouldn't get it free. The employee clearly told him 45 minutes, which by the policy's wording, negates the 30 minutes
@@Mike_Toulon So basically they scam people by saying "30 min" and they're every time saying through phone after taking order much, much higher times "45 min". Even tho, obviously, it took her 16 minutes or something. Also, it's bluntly lying saying shit like 45 min, so customer would feel/think "wow what a great company they made 45 min delivery in 16 min, wow they are good, even tho it's for example avg 16-20 min delivery, which mean only like 0-4 min faster, but they make it look like "25-29 min faster than avg"... Even tho it's BS.
Planet Fitness might be ridiculous but I actually agree with the no dropping weights rule. If you can't put it down, you probably shouldn't pick it up. & Startling other gym goers who are lifting heavy weight too could result in a disaster if they arent expecting a weight to shake the floor they're standing on.
@@SirSelby What law? the price matching is a policy from within the company, it's not legally enforced (as was shown in this video) If they were laws than the dude refusing to sell the device despite an official invoice from another company would be just as guilty.

office depot worker here! we only price match to stores like amazon, walmart, target, office supply, etc, and we don’t price match to random stores and retailers online or in person, such as a family owned business. so we DO price match, just not the store you chose. !!!!
He was committed fraud by taking that and trying to pull that scam if he received that computer that would have been fraud 😂 I watched it for the guitar part
And why not? Office depot is a scam then. If a moment and pop store could sell something so low and still survive why can't a multi million company do it? 1 dollar match is just peanuts to them. Why I support small business they are less greedy and less stingy on the discount and the ticket price
And you can’t go by someone writing a invoice. It has to be the exact model number which many stores change even if it’s one number or a letter for numerous reasons like this one. Anyone that does this is called fraud and they will get fined and or go to prison. Personally I would pay the regular price cause my freedom is worth that much.

Stores usually will price match to a competitor or website price depending on the store’s policy, if a competitor’s price is lower and you have proof of such, or if the stores website shows a lower price then they will match, sometimes they might have to check with or get approval from the manager depending on how much the difference is, of course in the cases I described it’s assuming the listing is legitimate

Former Subway employee here, so with the pizza, you didn’t get exactly what the policy was talking about, in fact flatbread from what I know is always available and every location. What the policy is talking about is actually a full on round mini pizza where the sauce and cheese is already put on and it’s wrapped up. We cut it open, put whatever ingredients you choose on it, put on some extra mozzarella cheese, and bake it. What you apparently missed on the Pizza Hut 30 minute policy is in the second to last sentence. When the employee told you 45 minutes delivery time, that negated the 30 minute policy. On top of that, Pizza Hut and Dominoes stopped promoting doing the 30 minutes or it's free back in the late 80s, very early 90s, because too many delivery drivers were getting in/causing accidents and being pulled over because they were speeding and ignoring traffic safety in an effort to beat the 30 minute limit Oh, and i think someone snitched on you dropping the weights at Planet Fitness. Here in australia there's a company that price matches called Bunnings, which is kind of like our version of Home Depot. I managed to get them to drop a 300 dollar fancy electric door lock down to 15 by getting my dad's company to literally drop the price on his website.
The real money move would've been to spend your entire life savings and sell them to your dad's company for double. 🤑🤑 Taking down the Corp giants while profiting a ton AND getting your dad an amazing discount for his /companies efforts!
Also says in the website that they "reserve the right to withdraw the service without prior information" So even if they were they could still just say no
I'm so unreasonably angry at that first one I worked in pizza for almost seven years and I can tell you right now. The "30 minutes or less" BS was conned up by Dominos, not Pizza Hut. And it was LONG FORGOTTEN because of how reckless a ton of accidents and dangers could occur from drivers being strictly told to drive fast by their bosses. It was also partially forgotten about after the Noid fiasco.

Not that it matters because that 30-minute policy has been discontinued for a long while; but reading it closely, there are exceptions for "first barrier point," and "difficult operating conditions." I would classify the construction roadblock as a difficult operating condition and possibly even a barrier (although that's more for security guards).
If you read the rule shown at 3:27, it says "30 minutes or free promotion is valid until first barrier point (security guard, reception, etc)" which likely covers any traffic stoppages, including the fake one set up for this video.
@GaryTongue-zn5di he didn't even have proof that it was the same model. There's no way a company is gonna just sell the same computer for a dollar, it was obvious they were trying to scam.

You looked at a policy on the Indian pizza hut website, the policy exists for most countries with Pizza Hut, except the US, also it said its eligible until the first barrier point.

He needs to read the fine print. Office Depot says they don't do price match for "location specific offers." I'd say that fake invoice would count as location specific. Also they don't do it for price errors. So if you got lucky and saw the same computer online at Best Buy for $20 they most likely won't price match it and call it an error. Obviously it's meant to get a discount and not take off most of the item's price.

This is actually ingenious of Office Depot: Office Depot manager could pull the ultimate Uno reverse card and buy all the same laptops from their competitor who agreed to sell it for $1. That is why no store will agree to your scheme... Could be lethal for them. Plus they would check to see if it was on sale for $1 for them if it is they buy them out if not then they wouldn't have to price match since it wasn't actually on sale for $1 for the general public... so either way they win, their competitor store loses and you're still computerless. That's a real folk of a policy they pull!
Price Match policy is pretty much the same among the few businesses that use it. Best Buy does the same. I used to sell stuff over the phone, and Price Match calls were pretty common. I think the biggest PM I ever did was for an inflatable castle (I didn't even know we sold that). We had it for like $900, and I think it was Costco that had it for about $400. I even had to double check with one of the sales executive managers, but it was a legit PM.

There are a lot of retail places that price match. Jewelry stores to hardware stores to shoes, books, and electronics shops. These places will all price match with their competitors to get your business and to keep you coming back. I went to Advanced Auto one day looking for a part for my car. The part they had, they would have had to order. So I went to O’Reilys and found out they had the exact same part but their price was higher than what Advanced listed. They contacted Advanced and was told the price and they O’Reilys matched the price.

That first one is so funny because its a neat little syncronicity with my sister Erica and our friend Julian. My sister is a artist herself who has a small business, Meowloafs (that's her art name on all social media) and is always having stickers made for the packaging she sends orders out in and to sell, while Julian is looking to open his Japanese Snack & Flower shop, and has a ton of stickers for occasions just like this one. His rule is "If someone is nice, I will offer them one of my stickers". It's also super cheap, simple and smart business sense too. His business is Happy Hana PDX. :) And my local Pizza Hut does actually follow that policy of over 30 minutes and it's free. At least at last check. It's likely store to store, manager to manager. Technically wearing flip flops is a loophole, because flip flops/thongs are not sandals. That's a fact apparently most do not know. Even the definition of sandals clearly shows how flip flops are not sandals. Sandals are what your dad wears, probably with socks because he's a masochist. Flip flops are what the chill dude bro man things wear because we know what comfort is. lol.

Keep up the good work and please remember me when you’ll hit the 7 figures milestone!! 💪🏻
Here’s the real reason for the song can’t be played in stores: There's no official ban on playing "Stairway to Heaven" in guitar stores, but it's generally considered poor etiquette. This is due to the song's overplayed status and the desire to avoid backlash from other guitar store patrons. The idea that "Stairway to Heaven" is banned in guitar stores originated from a joke in the 1991 movie Wayne's World. In the movie, Wayne tries to play "Stairway to Heaven" in a guitar shop and is told to stop by a clerk. The idea is based on the fact that many people who were learning guitar in the 1980s would play "Stairway to Heaven" whenever they went into a guitar shop, which annoyed guitar shop clerks.

This is actually ingenious of Office Depot:
Office Depot manager could pull the ultimate Uno reverse card and buy all the same laptops from their competitor who agreed to sell it for $1.

The Delivery driver won all our hearts!!!
