I spent 2 months looking for a car. Wasn’t considering this because my friend owned it (2014). Didn’t know they made a sport. When I saw the price and features it was a no brainer. Best value utility vehicle on the market period.
I love my 2023 CROSSTREK Sport model same color as the one you are talking about now best car I ever owned ever this is all set up for me the way I like it to be it’s a really great SUV.
I'm wondering if the paddle shifters can be used to brake the car upon slow deceleration..such as coming down a long off ramp, to give the brake pads a break....
Infotainment, shift to Automatic Transmission Only, Added Electronics are a reasons why Cars are more expensive. Personally, I could do without the added features and go with a more reliable less expensive, lighter more responsive vehicle. A simple reliable vehicle with less to go wrong is what I would like to see.
It's very nice. I would consider a blue one if I needed an off road capable SUV which is the perfect size for me. I like the styling details of the present Sport, especially the interior. Dislikes is the halogen lighting and fuel filler door on the passenger side. Also the bane of AWD vehicles of having to replace all the tires if you need to replace one. My lady friend in WI recently got one of these and loves it. It is her third Crosstrek, and she is an outdoors person that likes to go camping and hiking, etc. Sometimes drives in a lot of snow. Yes, replacing all tires does stink. But some people do not do that and their AWD system is still okay. Idk if I would test that personally, but I know people still do it. The crosstrek is great for outdoorsy people, as are all Subaru's for that matter!
@@703Speed I guess if the tires are pretty new when you get one replaced, it may not be a problem, but if there's lots of mileage, you may want to sell the others used, especially if lots of tread left.
Probably the most comprehensive overview of the cross trek on RUclips. Great job I’m definitely going to check out more of your videos
Thank you, I appreciate it !

Best prez I've seen by an "amateur....pro"...Great informative crisp delivery, CONGRATS!!! I just bought
this model....same color!
Congrats on your new crosstrek! Glad you liked the vid!
That was a very complete and informative video. Very helpful for my elderly parents.
Glad it could help!
Very informative. Thank you.
I never comment on videos but damn this was great . I already own a Subaru 23 Crosstrek and didn’t even know how to turn on the fog light.
Haha, glad you liked it
Great video! Professionally done, thank you, exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you! Glad you liked it
Awesome review! You're like the energizer bunny of reviewers!
Lol thank you

I wish the Outback had the same front bumper cladding….. not the odd vertical piece..
I agree. I’m not the biggest fan of the wheel arch molding on the Outback either. They should be an option
What I'm interested in is for SUBARU to bring back the "Manual" in an 6 speed, "with" the 2.5L engine. Guess they will lose another sale to Honda. 😓
They cancelled the manual.
Great review! Very detailed. Much more than others I've seen here.
Thank you!
detail in this review = w rizz when car shopping and there's no cars to test drive
Haha! Glad the video could help
I bought the 2024 sport and love it
I have a video of a 2024 sport if you’d like to check that out!
Peace bro,nice presentation.
Appreciate it!
That’s not a manual window. That’s a power window - you just have to hold the button while it goes. 😅
You know what I meant LOL
Can you tel me why my Subaru Crosstrek sport don’t have the sport logo in the back? I bought it in Canada any difference? And no rubber carpet
I’m not sure

They definitely can be used for that. You C-section feel the negative torque of the motor when you downshift
@@703Speed Do you have to put the shifter in Sport mode first? Or just go right for the left side paddle shifter...
@@cathydavis1817 What kind of overall mileage you guys getting?
@@cathydavis1817 those are really respectable numbers...for AWD too!
@@ofcbob6391 You can go right for the paddle shifters and they will downshift if you depress them

Very true, and I agree. But unfortunately, the industry is not moving in that direction
Is there any compass on the dash boards?
The compass is in the rearview mirror.
I have a 2022. So no compass???
Omg in Puerto Rico the MSRP this model sport is 45k🙄
WTH is paddle shift?
It is those paddles mounted behind the steering wheel. They are used to upshift and downshift the transmission

You pay msrp?
2.5 has a 3k towing I thought and 1.5 is the 2.0…..
Nah both engines have same tow capacity. It’s not power limited but rather suspension, brakes, etc
Just purchased a Premium. Love the car but too much information. I'm old school and really don't need all these bells and whistles.
It's a ENGINE, motors are electric 😊
That must explain why motorsports are activities for EVs only, and MotorTrend Magazine only features EVs. Your logic is foolproof! 🙄
NOT A FAN OF "PADDLES".
My current car is turbo 5 speed manual stick... & clutch pedal.
"Paddles"....meh.
