    I spent 2 months looking for a car. Wasn’t considering this because my friend owned it (2014). Didn’t know they made a sport. When I saw the price and features it was a no brainer. Best value utility vehicle on the market period.

    What I'm interested in is for SUBARU to bring back the "Manual" in an 6 speed, "with" the 2.5L engine. Guess they will lose another sale to Honda. 😓

    I'm wondering if the paddle shifters can be used to brake the car upon slow deceleration..such as coming down a long off ramp, to give the brake pads a break....

    • @703Speed

      They definitely can be used for that. You C-section feel the negative torque of the motor when you downshift

    Infotainment, shift to Automatic Transmission Only, Added Electronics are a reasons why Cars are more expensive. Personally, I could do without the added features and go with a more reliable less expensive, lighter more responsive vehicle. A simple reliable vehicle with less to go wrong is what I would like to see.

    It's very nice. I would consider a blue one if I needed an off road capable SUV which is the perfect size for me. I like the styling details of the present Sport, especially the interior. Dislikes is the halogen lighting and fuel filler door on the passenger side. Also the bane of AWD vehicles of having to replace all the tires if you need to replace one.
    My lady friend in WI recently got one of these and loves it. It is her third Crosstrek, and she is an outdoors person that likes to go camping and hiking, etc. Sometimes drives in a lot of snow.

      Yes, replacing all tires does stink. But some people do not do that and their AWD system is still okay. Idk if I would test that personally, but I know people still do it. The crosstrek is great for outdoorsy people, as are all Subaru's for that matter!

    • @jjacob25101
      @jjacob25101 Год назад

      @@703Speed I guess if the tires are pretty new when you get one replaced, it may not be a problem, but if there's lots of mileage, you may want to sell the others used, especially if lots of tread left.
