It was bucketing it down all morning and early afternoon (I was working on the other side of the festival site that day). Literally half the campsites emptied on Sunday because the rain was so heavy. I would've been there, but I was on shift during their set time.
@@FuellkrugsZahnluecke To be fair, the weather in Germany is a million times better than the British summer! It was kind of shitty weather in Leeds during their set again but it cleared up later on in the week - turnouts were a lot better then
Billy talent are the reason I'm so ill. Went to see them in the pouring rain with no waterproof clothing and then did a 1am-9am shift. Do I regret it? Absolutely not
I was here and the performance was awesome. They weren’t too many because the wind and rain was quite strong, which would deter most people, but not me. The people that WERE there however enjoyed it thoroughly. :)
I listen to a lot of billy talent, I love the band, they have been playing before I was born and it makes me sad to know that not a lot of people like them, hope they release a new album soon.
When you put dua Lipa and post malone on the bill that means real rock fans don’t turn up for this anymore. Standing in the wet with a pint watching rock is what reading and Leeds used to be about, obviously not anymore 😢
Just compare the 2000 lineup with 2019... It's a damn joke. From over 50 acts or so including QOTSA, blink-182 etc. to about 30 acts of which a third are known and the rest turns out to be some mediocre pop shit just because they want to keep the gender split equal. Who cares? Just throw a damn party and stop pretending to be special. I mean, not to talk bad about some of the acts, but the almost everyone playing there now is either some over hyped pop bs or something that is... Well, let's say "artistically valuable"...
Wow... where is everyone?! I'm disappointed at my countrymen failing to support this amazing band. I'd be screaming at my friends: Raining...?! So what?! Put on your big-boy-pants, get your ass out of your tent and get out there to support Billy Talent, or just pack up your stuff and go home! Drink some cement and toughen the f*** up, let's go!
After drinking heavily the night before and getting barely any sleep the night before, I went to this even though i was freezing, tired and wet. However I understand why not many were there, considering it was at 1pm
I am sorry for the guys... They were playing in front of dead people..... I saw BT last year and they were amazing... They deserve a different crowd...
Me too, I don't understand how they can have millions of views and real guys like them, who gave everything of their live for the music, don't have this fame :/
They were much better on the lock up the previous year! Reading festival is no longer anymore I'm afraid guys. It's a piss poor pop and R&B festival thanks to the BBC buying it out!
Reading used to be a rock festival, now its shameful! Billy Talent deserve a much bigger reception than this.
It rained badly that's why

Cat Easeman well that's one excuse accounted for thank christ.
Thats really not an excuse. I went to several german festivals and they are still partying, no matter wich weather they have

"You have a wonderful country… but your weather fucking sucks!"
Lmao, never change Ben.

Litearlly cant belive no1 is there, thats sad, Billy Talent brings back so many memores for me!

Charles Hanley wouldnt let the weather stop me lol
Exactly
„Very strong language“
Indeed
I was sick for two weeks after that but I definitely dont regret it! Standing in the rain was worth it
I love Billy talent and would have happily jumped around in the rain all day to see them
Amazing live
that guy on 1:59 smoking... seems like a clip from an action movie with the billy talent song as a soundtrack.

Calm down guys! It’s. It about the quantity of the crowd but the quality!
Love them guys!!!

At 1:12, I am visible for a few seconds.
Got the only one pair of warm clothes I had with me soaked to watch this, but it was definitely worth it!
I wanna see them live again
upload Billy Talent more.

Thanks to Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 that brought me here.

their performance in 2012 was insane . What the hell happened here? they deserve to headline next year.
Last year they were in one of the small tents along with Breaking Benjamin. Nice see them on the bigger stage which they asked for last year.
I once saw the language in this video lift a piano to save a baby.
I am sorry for the guys... They were playing in front of dead people..... I saw BT last year and they were amazing... They deserve a different crowd...
Come to 🇧🇷
Not seen these guys for years. No point being a punk band at Reading as Reading is no longer a rock and punk festival.
Like wtf. Where is the people?
Look at the 2016 live at the exact same festival. Like thousands of people.
CROWD???? WHAT THE FUCK?!!!
Jesus someone give the singer an oxygen tube...
No public why???
Begamin
am I the only one who thinks ben looks a little like mark hamil.
he looking his age in a good way.
Meanwhile Dua Lipa , Post Malone and Caitlin/Bruce Jenner's son in law gets 10 times the crowd. I'm done with this generation

You can't really see from the video, but it was chucking it down
This festival sucks now... more Rnb pop or rap than rock thats sad
So dissapointed to be paying just to see Billy Talent to perform for 30 min :(
Why is this so empty ??? Holy Shit this is disgusting..
What Happend?
As someone who was there, and is even prominently visible in the video, it was pouring rain.

Does anyone think this opening sound like The Killers: somebody told me ?!
